I got this bass on Reverb. It's a great instrument for a great price. I had my guitar tech fix nut height, intonation on the E string and overall action. I put Rotosound black tapes and that's probably one of best decisions I made in my whole life. The piezo sounds very good for such a cheap ABG.
I tried this bass with d'addario flat wound bass strings and it was like silk on the fingers.
How about action is it comforted your fingers?
Do yall make any with frets?
does it have a loud and good sound without being plugged in?
Hi, Thanks for your question, they are designed to work best with it plugged in.
Thanks
I have just ordered one of these from a music shop here in Australia (at a very nice price, mind you). Can you tell what type and gauge of strings are used in that demo? String brand is neither here nor there. Cheers!
Hi, Thanks for your question, the strings used on the demo are the standard ones that come with the guitar, 45,105 phosphor bronze Many thanks
d'addario flat wound bass strings feel great on this bass. A friend of mine has one and when I tried it, that was my first question. They felt great.
Galli Black Nylon are better
@@collacartacorde2539 I used nylon flat wounds on fretless for many years. Apart from feel and less noises on slides and vibrato, less wear on the fingerboard too.
