I am not a content creator but I join cntent creators in fighting this. KFCB rules are ridiculous and these people are stuck in the middle ages because this is like trying to charge WhatsApp and email users for messages they exchange using the justification that normal phone users pay for calls and SMS.
The practicality of charging and approving the content is impossible and that's why they should never armtwist content creators into paying for anything.
We are in digital age, Technology is here and we MUST embrace it

Do u know how many people who have RUclipss that have not picked? Za cooking, za travel vlogs, za podcasts. Akuna mtu huanza RUclips akijua itaenda aje. Then, the gov iko apo putting more roadblocks. Every RUclips starts with 1 video n 1 subscriber. Plus it means ukipost TikTok n Facebook same laws apply to everyone, whether ni starter or not. Its an idea that is bad for the industry

Shida ni terminologies. Hapa sasa kuna distinction ya film na audio visual content that is not film. The problem is they`ve decided to enforce that law even where it does not apply just on a basis of distribution and the bigger problem is, since they`ve started, where does it stop? If we let it slide utakuta sometime in future, you won`t be able to upload birthday videos and highlights za a concert you attended coz apparently, it`s also liable for licensing.
