    So if you had 110cc headgasket than your problems would go away , notice how 90cc piston is different than 110cc , not just the diameter but 90 has cutouts for valves and is taller , and 110 is flat top

    I just made my own gaskets. Cereal boxes work a treat never failed me on my 160cc. Went through two bought gaskets got fed up stripping the head down. Now the bikes running sweat as a nut. Gets hammered on the traxx.

    My 120cc engine gets hot pretty quick could it be the head gasket ??

      Your carb might be too lean. Check your spark plug and see if it looks too lean If you’re spark plug is showing it was running lean then clean all jets in your carb. If that doesn’t fix it then try making your carb run more rich.

      @@connorjack3246 yeah it can, new carbs may need to be adjusted to your altitude and climate, such as rejecting

      I've read other comments and most likely the carb setting but, yes if the gasket is gone, it will draw in more air which will cause it to run lean, and would definitely make it hotter quicker as this happend to mine also, sorry for very late reply.

    Hello my bike is leaking oil from sparkplug i was driving and i just shut off and there was oil on sparkplug hole what is it?

    • @stevesteel14
      @stevesteel14  Год назад +1

      Just depends if you have an external oil leak or it's internal.
      Could be leaking from a gasket and trailing down to the plug hole.
      However, if the oil is on the actual plug hole, then its internal.
      But if its internal, the bike would be smoking alot, if so that gonna be Vale seal or piston rings

    My motorbike is releasing oil on air filter could that be a Gasket problem as well?

    • @stevesteel14
      @stevesteel14  2 года назад +2

      There's only one place oil can naturally come out of the engine, and that is the engine breather at top of the engine, if its not coming out of there, then yea its most likely gasket.

      Valve stem seal... You'd have to take the cylinder head off, bit of a strip down really. But it would definitely be valve stem seals.

    Thats the wrong gasket for the top end . That gasket goes between the cylinder and crank case

    • @stevesteel14
      @stevesteel14  4 месяца назад +1

      It is correct gasket as you can see it has the inner metal compression seal for the combustion chamber.
      Thanks for you comment anyway ❤

      @stevesteel14 I saw comment that you think you fixed problem by just tightening head bolts more. So do you think you really need the head gaskets outside diameter over the tapered edge on cylinder head?

      I think so, gasket still blew, and I put it down to the head bolts being to weak, therfore not tightening up enough, I was going to replace them with m8 stud bolts, but after I took measurements I thought fuck it, I tightened the bolts up so tight I was expecting them to snap, but so far it hasn't done it again yet.
