When I don't buy an extra Abo does it still sound like the music comes from different directions?
Got one in Glazier white. It’s fabulous! Well worth it. Sound is very good.
I was contemplating getting the white on. It's very pretty.
Is it better than a tv speaker
@@waqaasalifiaz oh absolutely, much better
I have 2 white style and the sub... All together sound awesome...
@@waqaasalifiaz absolutely
Is dolby atmos activated via common HDMI output or just HDMI ARC?
Connects well with my pc so l can play old cds as well as stored music plus any radio stations downloaded. All in all a great piece of kit.
Very powerful indeed
can it run on 220 v
Echo gen 4 for the win
Can I hear the sound from my TV (NOT a smart TV) through the studio? 🤔🤔
You need the Fire TV 4K, which you hook up on an HDMI port on your TV
Can this speaker play radio?
Over the internet
Jesus, these are expensive lol. I may get one soon I may just plug a nice external speaker into my dot and it’ll do
can you pair this with dots for a 5.1 cinema system for home theatre?
No. Atmost you caln pair 3 echos. The combinations are
A. 2 dots +1 studio
B. 2 echo 4th gen + 1 studio.
C. 2 studio + echo sub.
Weirdly enough, Even i don't understand why they can't tweak the software to support 5.1 or 7.1 or even 9.1 setup. They could sell so many more speakers to the same customers.
@@nishantaggarwal2825 of the combo's you listed, you can only do one and that is Option C - 2 studios plus an echo sub. The other combos will not work.
5.1 means 5 speakers and .1 for the subwoofer. It's a physical limitation. The Studio has 1 tweeter, 3 midrange and 1 subwoofer.
Looks like a good speaker no doubt ... but still a pity that it uses the micro-USB port in 2023 instead of usb-C.
That port is for service only. It has no user function. You can see the actuall power port next to it.
Bought an Echo Sub and 2 Echo Studios, tried to replace my aging Denon 5.1 setup in a much smaller footprint and integrate with Alexa. Sorry to say, it didn't work, sound was good enough, not amazing, bass was good enough, not amazing and I thought it just wasn't loud enough with that nice bass punch. I might have kept the setup except for the constant cutouts, disconnecting from speaker groups, not wanting to play with the Echo 15 at all kept letting it lose to play alone. I don't get it, I have other Echos and don't experience this level of frustration. I gave up and returned the whole setup, Isn't like it was a cheap setup and you could put up with some aggravation, this was about $500, not crazy expensive but I expect it to work correctly and it didn't.
You need the Fire TV 4K with the Studio(s)+Sub. Then you can group the two + sub as 2.1. Didn’t you know?
I don't want a fire tv and I wasn't using it for TV sound. I had them paired but they constantly cutout and fell out of a group I created. Very frustrating speaker setup. Back to the old Denon and it just works
Micro-USB!! WHAT-YEAR-IS-THIS?!?
Right?
This needs an hdmi port
@@lambeaupackman That is such a strange comment. Why would a speaker need a video connection?
@sedawk This way you can hook it up to hdmi arc input on a TV and use it like a soundbar. Most TVs now don't come with a 3.5 audio jack or the red and white audio inputs.
@@lambeaupackmanYou are missing the user case for these! It isn’t a soundbar, and doesn’t want to be one! Like similar devices like Apple Home Pod 2 or Sonos speakers.
The Studio speakers are best in connection with a Fire TV device for home cinema, or any streaming music service like Deezer, Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music!
