Yeah it wasn't easy the animations can be hard work totally see it in this video were attacks can be spammed by the boss I have played with it abit since bit never really got anywhere with it
@@croston3dcncah I see what you mean. One thing I would try is to maybe have a cool-down and a strafe mechanic, as this would make the boss and ai so feel much more better instead of a run attack behaviour that was made in the course. I’m still new to ue4/5 so I haven’t done it yet, but I believe it would make it much better! 👍🏼
@@sii-gul5852That's the strange thing I do have cooldowns and everything and they work for other moves it's certain ones which go rogue and can be spammed. 😅
In my honest opinion it's really good in some ways but if you can't put the time in to learn bits yourself and fault find then I wouldn't recommend it. There's some holes earlier on and later on were some parts are missed due to cuts and causes some confusion at times. The course does have some good points though the combat system is fairly good and works as expected.
Hey, just shooting my shot here. I have a very small team that has broken ground on an extraction looter hybrid between gameplay loop of Escape from Tarkov and Souls-like combat in 3rd person. If you would be interested in contributing your skills and knowledge to our ambitious projected we would love to bring you on Board. It’s called Echo Rhelms and while only a week old, we’ve made tremendous strides and have a prettty recognizable game so far.
Great job so far! I also finished the course not too long ago and am slowly expanding upon it! Nice to see other peoples progress so far!

Hey, by now you must have finished the course, would you recommend it? I saw some negative reviews saying that it doesn't explain some things and such
