Hey, just shooting my shot here. I have a very small team that has broken ground on an extraction looter hybrid between gameplay loop of Escape from Tarkov and Souls-like combat in 3rd person. If you would be interested in contributing your skills and knowledge to our ambitious projected we would love to bring you on Board. It’s called Echo Rhelms and while only a week old, we’ve made tremendous strides and have a prettty recognizable game so far.

Hi, thanks for the measurement. Just as a heads up since I noticed this with my own sound level meter, pressing or releasing the max-button creates a internal/chassis noise peak in the meter unit which registers way higher than most things you generally want to measure. In this case it peaked to 64 dB even though the printer sound registered at around 51 dB before clicking max!

I started the build just lost track of it I think I had a few of the different screw types missing. I need to do a recheck and order the correct ones. How is yours working ?

Great job so far! I also finished the course not too long ago and am slowly expanding upon it! Nice to see other peoples progress so far!
Yeah it wasn't easy the animations can be hard work totally see it in this video were attacks can be spammed by the boss I have played with it abit since bit never really got anywhere with it
@@croston3dcncah I see what you mean. One thing I would try is to maybe have a cool-down and a strafe mechanic, as this would make the boss and ai so feel much more better instead of a run attack behaviour that was made in the course. I’m still new to ue4/5 so I haven’t done it yet, but I believe it would make it much better! 👍🏼
@@sii-gul5852That's the strange thing I do have cooldowns and everything and they work for other moves it's certain ones which go rogue and can be spammed. 😅
@@croston3dcnc hmmm strange, maybe it’s the rare attack? Maybe change the percentage of it?
@@sii-gul5852 I've not.looked at it for a while and yeah it is something on the ai controller causing issues

i had something similar in the past, and idiot me used it indoors where there were light bulbs that are thin and stick out from the cieling, so ofc i shot it up and it exploded one of them lmao
🤣 Well funny you mention that I literally tried it in the house and it shot up at speed towards the ceiling, it survived this time but I can mass produce these now if I have any fatalities 😅

Hey, by now you must have finished the course, would you recommend it? I saw some negative reviews saying that it doesn't explain some things and such
In my honest opinion it's really good in some ways but if you can't put the time in to learn bits yourself and fault find then I wouldn't recommend it. There's some holes earlier on and later on were some parts are missed due to cuts and causes some confusion at times. The course does have some good points though the combat system is fairly good and works as expected.

What settings did you use?
Hello, My settings are tried and tested at 0.050mm layer thickness, normal exposure time 4s, off time 3s, bottom exposure time 55s, 6 bottom layers, anti alias 1, z lift distance 10mm, zlift speed 2mm/s, z retract speed 3mm/s

Why did you put on the spare screen protector? There should have been one installed already. The plastic you peeled off the screen initially is used to preserve the outside skin of the screen projector already there.
it's a good point but it has tabs on the transport protector to remove it, the printer definetly didn't come with it installed on I followed the manual completely.
