  • Brief walkthrough on stance and rifle presentations. An explanation on why I choose to run a staggered stance vs squared up. This is not meant to say one way is better than another. I run what works for me, and what I feel is the most efficient, hence it is what I teach.

      Do you guys think that land based drones would be helpful for clearing obstacles.
      ie. A brand new high psi turbo Volvo semi with two large trailers, connected to your smart phone with a 120,000lb
      HE/Slurry payload? Those would be great instead of airpower. (March 20, 2003 Iraq Invasion). Good for opening days and nights of invasions.
      Top speed of like 170km/h
      1,000 Semi's. Cheap as JDAMs really.
      I think a harem of Semi-Drones could he affectual for breaching enemy bases and strongholds.
      It would be a nice condiment to schools of apache hellfire drone swarms. (500 Apaches).

    Rocking that stock into the cheek point then seeding it into the shoulder is blowing my mind. I’m just an airsoft and video game guy. Getting a consistent sight picture even with irons is SO much easier going cheek>shoulder rather than vice versa. Nobody just ‘thinks’ this shit up…. This comes from experience and we are very fortunate to have such a legend share his knowledge. The same goes for any profession - not just warfighters. There are never too many good teachers.

    Easily one of the most effective and concise guides on stance I've seen. Considering how many top tier guys put training videos out, that's saying alot. I think the big difference is you describe how body manipulation cues (foot orientation/flexing muscles) results in the desired outcome. Cues are something that translates alot from my forte in weightlifting and probably for anyone who is a hands on learner in general. They're intuitive and don't lead to over-thinking.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just aware that methodologies shift in different contexts, so maybe your frame of reference and application is from a world where stance doesn’t carry nearly as much importance. I, myself, trust what Slade teaches because of the amount of collaborative work he does with other highly competent shooters and instructors. If he was selling a load of hot shit, I’m sure his peers in the community would recognize this and simply… not work with him…

      @@drinalco the problem with your analysis is your lack of respect for the shooting communities' desire to avoid drama. if anyone was selling the fact that they were a navy seal instead of actually instructing strangers towards new applicable skills, for example; that person might enjoy a long career NOT because they AREN'T a fraud or a sham. But rather if people want to spend their money to feel like that got trained by a navy seal, that is their right (even when really its some emotionally compromised washout trying to cash in on the experiences that cripple him.)

    • @drinalco
      @drinalco 2 года назад +7

      @@J4CKWR4TH I’m not quite sure what you’re getting at, I never said anything about starting drama. And even then, that premise is false. Drama crops up almost every day in the shooting community, whether it’s related to one company or another, or notable content creators.
      Last time I checked, Slade wasn’t capitalizing on the fact that he ran with the Seals, he has all sorts of ventures going on like consulting, releasing products through SC Irregulars, and videos like these where he’s keeping some semblance of the “knowledge transfers” from **** Group alive. Slade literally just finished helping out with a photoshoot from Workmani and Flux Defense too. Furthermore, he’s constantly engaging in respectful debates on Instagram and discussing tactics. Check out the recent post from Student Operator on Instagram, Slade debates Jared from Orion Training Group on Center Check vs Single-side pan in regards to center-fed rooms in CQB.
      While I respect your opinion, I don’t think it’s nearly informed enough. Seems like your frame of reference relies purely on RUclips, and not the bigger picture.
