Back in season 1 this was my favourite skin in the game for a very long while. Though it didn't stand the test of time too well so I was glad to see this
I love this skin on how incorporates Freljord lore into it. Spiritwalkers in the lore have to be careful not to go too deep when channeling spirits, otherwise they become horrific embodiments of those demigods. The Ursine are a group where that sort of channeling is encouraged, hence why in Silence for the Damned they are all horrific and monstrous
That just makes me think even more that Udyr deserved a traditional skin, like Udyr BEFORE he went to Ionia. Especially given the fact that he got only 5 skins in 14 years of Udyr being a champion in League.
@@mistywww3199 or how it looked (traditional karma is karma pre rework) i can easily see they make original udyr cannon for pre ionia (i think they even did with the art for the "a walk with the voices") and make it into "traditional" skin
From what it looks, Primal udyr is his backstory, Spirit Guard is his monk incarnation, and classic is his Freljord form. Not really any point in a traditional skin imo.

I just think he really needs a more traditional looking skin, that's all. Or like something he got in the LoR cards, where he looks younger.

Imagine a legendary Udyr skin that would be futuristic themed like project or mecha. Or even void corrupted where he can transform into void creatures. So many possibilities.
Seeing this, im a 100% sure that a "skinwalker" like skin would fit so freaking well with udyr, maybe a skin for halloween, an elderwood one where udyr is a wendigo or something like that
This reminds me of a Khazix Ultimate where every kill you got gave you their head or some trophy off of their body that visually represented you killed them.

I've loved Udyr for over a decade now, picked him up after watching a Grasshyren video and being hooked by the stance guy running around. Primal is one of the first skins I ever bought and this is such a beautiful upgrade. This feels new whilst reminding me of older times, vanilla wow almost with quilboars and furbolgs etc. So good.

Boar is fine, but in my opion Bear an phoenix have way to much smaller head compare to the model, and the Ram's horns are not ram horns i'm sure hoping rito is gonna change them

Sick skin, especially the anivia form, but the horned bear looks goofy and the ram is a gazelle, i know they replicated the original bear form but I wish they would've just modelled it after volibear, same with the ram
I literally like this better now than the Dragon Oracle one cause there something off about the rework of Dragon Oracle Udyr. (maybe because they remove the darker color tone of each transformation)
the boar is cool too but i wish they have just stucked with the turtle and make it consistent like all turtle stance are turtle or if it is boar, make all skins with boar.
the skin looks amezing but i have two nitpicks 1 : i know the bear needs to be brown like it's original but if you have the other three forms acurate then have this one too and 2: riot pls change the horns on the ram form it looks like a gote
EPIC, only complaint I have is the color of the bear stance, should've been white like Voli, other than that this is definitely the best skin from this rework (apart from SG)
I think that they may have either done that as a callback to the original skin (since this is pretty much exactly how base Urdyr looked in that skin as well as bear stance) or because it probably would have looked a lot like Volibear with the way the skin works which may have made it confusing in a team fight if there is a Volibear on the team.
This is better than the ult skin. I was hoping that the ult skin will use the spirit forms when he uses his abilities and not change his stupid hair color.
This whole udyr rework is incredible. What an amazing effort they put in….. they should do that with Kled and come out with at least 5 more skins for him *cough, cough*

Don't wanna be rude in saying that this skin would've been better as the classic/default skin, i know that riot put in a lot of work in these but the new original skin seems too... Hunched
The best part of seeing all these reworked skins is thinking of all the potential Udyr has for new skins in the future

I got this as my firs ewer skin in lol in 2017 and all my friends made fun of how dumb it was to enchante it. Now Im truly proud that I have it.

Really nice skin, pretty much a budget spirit guard udyr, with how the he transforms completely on each ability.
But Spirit guard Udyr doesn't transform on each ability.
