Micchan Read the description lmao
Micchan It's breakin' and Breakin' 2
LMAO!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like this was taken out of an alternate universe.
Same I said the same thing at the top of the comment section
They built an time machine and recorded this
What the best timeline looks like; even after 30 years it's still 1985.
It was lol
I would like to live in this alternate universe
My favourite thing is modern songs made to sound old, and old songs made to sound new.
Cool Story bro hahaha
Cool story bro
*cool story bro*
@@unicorninvader8783 uP
Me too
Not many people know that Camilla wrote this song based on her childhood growing up during the missile crisis. It's one of those pop bangers with a political message behind it
So she is now 60 years old
I didn't know
What the hell
Clever joke
Ahhh... I remember this song! Such a throw back! Ahhh...those were the days in the 80s, eh??
Lottie J 😂
Ahh yes! Those were the good old days 💞
Lottie J lol
Yes they were the glories these were one of my favorites
Trex 8210 *I was born in the wrong generation*
Camila Cabello - Havana (1988). Ah the good old times! This song marked one of the best moments in my entire life! I remember listening to it for the first time in June '88. I was hanging out with my best buddy in a disco club in Miami when I found that stunningly beautiful girl. We danced to this song when we kissed for the very first time. We got married in May 1994 and we have two children, our son who's 19 and our daughter who's 17 :)
Seems legit
SanGoshi hehehe
SanGoshi classic lol
SanGoshi :)
JAJAJAJAJAJA 😂😂😂😂
She looks like a Puerto Rican news reporter in the beginning 😂😂😂
Lol 😂😂
Whats? I'm Puerto Rican
That’s actually Cynthia (Latin freestyle singer from the 80s/90s) that Camila’s face is photoshopped onto
Am I the only one who thinks it looked like lady gaga?
Well she was born in Cuba so..... close enough?
I remember when this song came out in '85! I was 16 and she was 18. Aaah the memories!
lmao
Same!!
she was young!
this was 1989, not 1985-
@@-untcuchable.mp4268 this was 1988
DAMN. I wasn't sure how this song could have been made 80s while still keeping the latin flair. Freestyle is the perfect genre for this! It sounds freaking incredible, instantly hooked!
why does this seem so real
Skills lol
bc it is
I've been sick of hearing the original on the radio over and over again but man, this is great, so much better!!
dizzyizzy Truly earworms, the thing that music industry nowadays make.
2:25 this melody is so sick
The beat is sick af
Sounds like My Boo
Yeah
I remember back in ‘87 I had moved to Illinois and boy did I love it, I got to see John Hughes filming one of his movies in the neighborhood and he let me play as an extra! I met Camila Cabello while filming and it was awesome!!!
Damn, this song was everywhere when it first came out in 1987. Everyone at my high school had a copy on vinyl. It got played at prom that year. After the music video dropped on MTV, everybody at my school started break-dancing and dressing up like the dancers in the video. Those were good times. Sadly, Young Thug went to jail in 1993 and Camilla passed away in 2005. I still remember the day she died and still play this record on the anniversary in honour of her. R.I.P. to this legend. 1959-2005
That was huge the rivality between fans of Camila Cabello and fans of Miami Sound Machine
The story is my mom played this while in labor, I'm listening right now after 30 years what a classic.
I wish I had a time machine so that I could back to 1985 and release this song, get really rich and then come back to this year with generational wealth
I love Young Thug's classic features, he sounds like he's from the future. Best song of the 80's for sure. Everyone went to Havana nanana. Those were the simpler times.
Oh gawd... this takes me back... Summer 1987... Underage in the club in Miami, tearing up the dance floor coked out of my mind, hooking up with random nameless bimbos... That was the life. It seemed like it would never end. I kinda like her daughter's cover that came out a while ago.
Thank you so much for uploading this song ! This brings back so much memories when I was teen back in the 80's. What an amazing artist who sadly passed away in the late 90's, long live the queen.
Use to beat these bitches in dance battles when this song played at parties
this remix deserves more views.. this is legendary..
OMG I remember this song! I listened to this ALL THE TIME and it was my favorite! Camila would have been 53 today but cancer took her away from us...Rip camila :(
1967-2005
Is no one going to say anything about the dude with broken legs who killed it
Karuto Nation holy fuck, he was amazing
I think he actually had cerebral palsy. Those particular crutches are common for folks with CP.
Guess you could say... he broke a leg(s) :D
The video is from an 80s dance movie called breaking. You can download and watch it.
@Some One 1:19
This song always reminds my of my grandpops. He'd always play it when we went to his house. He'd talk to us kids about the 80's. Rip pops 1953-2003
This sounds like something Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam woulda cranked out in thier prime! Awesome work!
The melody break when Shrimp hit the broom routine was just too perfect.
the footage, the clothes, people, hairstyles, it looks genuine footage made in the 80s.
apparently, the video is really made in the 80s, from "Breakin' 1984". it seems impossible to see such an old classic footage made nowadays.
The Havana Slide!!! Such a throwback.
The Sight of Breakdance in Public is much more appreciated than Chaos
She just stopped making music after this, some say she never recovered from the breakup with Freddie mercury, another talent lost to depression.
Great Freestyle song from '88
No idea what the original sounds like, but this is some good shit.
The original sounds amazing but this remix is legendary
Do you live under a rock lol
So see that film "breakin' 84"
The original one is shit lol
@@herejust4cars723 Yeah I hate the original but this 80s version is actually liked.
Hope you'll get more than millions viewers man...your idea of making music is so good..you got it in you....God bless.
I remember she performed it live in Miami back in 83' what a legendary performance she had been.
When Camila Cabello is a timeless singer and she knows how to go along timeline :0
She owns a tropical Delorean car
All your videos are so well made it’s ridiculous... keep up the amazing work ❤️
Saint-Laurent Can you make an album of these?
The timing of the video and music are spot on. Loved this movie and song when I was rocking my moon pants and break dancing in the hallways of my high school in between class.
Young thugger killed this beat back in 83 man does time fly this was a banger had gave an hour of my life up just to get this on my mixtape man
You took me back the 80's,na-na-na
I went to two Fifth Harmony concerts before she left the group. I would enjoy a Camila Cabello concert where she headlines it.
Camilla still looks as young as she was
camila was my first concert back in 1989. good memories
Flashback in the 80's
Jean Claude Van Damme back up dancing added extra 80s bonus points
I felt as though the rap-portion of the original didn’t mesh well with the rest of the song. But this version does a great job at combining the two! Keep up the good work
Whomever created this is my hero 🏆
This is awesome. If Camila were an artist in the 80’s/90’s she would be compared with Selena and Thalia
LuvNickelodeon True. But idk if anyone can compare to Selena lol
LuvNickelodeon no stop dont compare her to Selena.
LuvNickelodeon the list goes a little like this:
1)Selena Quintanilla
2)Thalia
3)Camila Cabello
I love camila BUT nobody can compare to Selena she's a legend
well at least she can be compared to Selena Gomez. as long as Selena
I'm watching this and wow back then we had it good. No technology, just having fun. People these days can't lay a finger off their phones and just have fun and talk. All you see is them scrolling down their phone on facebook lol.
I finally found the song I was dancing to at a disco bar 20 years ago! Thank you so much! This was my jam.
Sounds like this was taken out of an alternate universe
LOVE THIS REMIX SO MUCH!!!! And the way you photoshopped Camila's face onto Cynthia's is hilarious.
I feel so old this was a hit when I was young. 😫
'80s Havana would be a hit that would also lead to Camilla Cabello being investigated by the CIA.
Absolutely amazing! This version is by far way better than the original.
How does this not have at least a million views this is awesome!
This literally the best version of the song.
wooaahhh... that is a pure child Flash back!!!!... We had the soundtrack LP from the movie Breakin '.... I was 5 when I saw the movie❤️
Dude in the crutches is a freakin g - no cap 💯🔥
That's good that Camila made a new version of her old song in 2017 but the original is the best! 😍
She and Gloria Estefan were friends back in the day. its a good thing her daughter is covering her songs now-1986 was a good year :)
Gloria also helped her get picked up by a talent agency too
brings back memories of special ed prom
Havana (1988 Version)
I just came for Club MTV. Miami Freestyle at is finest. ^^ and that was the first song i heard on my new 1988 ford mustang convertible.
Freestyle!! Camila as Cynthia❤❤
Better enjoy this while I can
I loved how you put Camila's song into an 80's remix
I need to get ready to go to bed, but I cannot stop replaying this song. I love this song so much. 🥺💕
This guy literally said .....NA ....IM BRINGING THE 80s IDC WHO CARES.... AND SO THE REST IS HISTORY...
1988 was a GREAT year! Memories
nice neo soul chords thats also pumps up in the speakers, nice job!
We just found this video and its was crazy. I feel like I was going back in the 80's in disguise to find a wild party. Amazingly well done.
RIP Camila Cabello, a real legend.
I feel like a part of why some people like these 80's remixes so much is that they help them overcome their bias against modern pop music to hear the songs for the decent pieces of music they are. Not trying to diss them in any way, I personally love these remixes and often think of them as improvements to the original songs, but I've been thinking about this recently and suspect this might be a part of why I dislike some songs but love them once the background music is altered a bit.
has more to do with how the instrumentantion is done. usually 80s remix add a bunch of colorful chords and rework some of the structure to be more inline with the way 80s pop was done. i mean, nowadays pop is very minimalistic with super simple chord progressions using even more simple and stripped down to its core elements chords that feel basically like aperture science stylistic choices, but for music. 80s remix just add a bunch of crazy chords and make instrumental stuff more complex, that accompanys what the melody is doing by ading more layers to it, which than make ppl realize how pop melody nowadays are actually pretty good (i mean, i hate ariana grande stuff, but i have to be frank that her music has some excelent melody like into you and love me harder).
I remember this back in the day when I moved from Moonbeam City to San Junipero in '88. Met my wife in a club there when this song was playing. Great Times.
I was more impressed with the dancing! Especially the dude on crutches lmaooo 😂😂😂
The movie is called Breakin' released 1984. When the break dancing/popping was hitting the world. Has the OG breakers such as Turbo, Ozone. Rapper Ice T and more
ok but camila actually needs to hear this, is amazing
I've never come across with an 80s remix with a *music video* before. 👏👏
My parents used to love this song!! I’m so glad it’s making a comeback!
Omg this is so good !!! Hug from Brazil.
Bruh the 80s-90s everyone was so energetic its 🔥👌. Lets hope the 2020s are similiar.
Oml i remember this movie!! I used to watch it over and over when i was like 10 haha
1:21 oh my gahhhh😂😂😂dude hittin it down with his crutches bruh🤣🤣🤣🤣I’m dying I just can’t!
You couldnt tell me and my crew we wasnt ready to battle when this song came on
I love the VHS text! Nice touch!
How all these 80s remixes be fire
This is the most amazing break danceing i ve ever seen.
In this 1988 remix, the Roland TR-808 snare drums and Roland TR-808 claps mixed with each other and modified and low pitched Roland TR-808 cowbells were heard.
This is a bop!! I'm here for all of these 80's mixes
My favorite 80s remix so far. This shit is awesome. lol
Saint-Laurent is a true time traveler!
Everything seems so much happier during the 80's
The rap part was AMAZING!!! Great job!!
1:52 It was so amazing seeing Camilla dancing in her own song 😂
This is literally the best 80‘s remix with New Rules :)
You made the song listenable. Time to get my boombox!
I remember how I at age 14 tried to sing this song with my friends in the times of Germany being separated, wondering what Havana and East Atlanta must have been like. Didn't know much English back then but the kids from the American GIs ationed here liked to play this. Time flies.
I love more this one than the original one GREAT JOB making this video LOVE IT
You literally made this song tolerable for me. I have never liked this song, and now, I absolutely love it.
Love the Breakin' scenes. That movie was the Top Gun of breakdancing when it came out
What is the movie??
this was our prom dance song back in '89 good times!
Love this remix.. 80s n 90s
