Back in 1987 I used to blast this on my brand new boom box. I was undoubtedly the coolest kid in the area. 😅
I grouped up with some classmates to perform this for our 6th grade talent show in Spring of '88. We were trying to practice in secret so it would be a surprise, I was going to do the Ludacris part. My nosey mom heard us though and shut down our performance because we were saying the word "ass" in the song and the adults didn't approve. It could have been my start as a rapper but mom didn't let me show off my talent...oh well, maybe in another life!

It’s funny because the original “Glamorous” already has an 80s feel to it. Gwen Stefani rejected it when Polow Da Don first used this beat (and Luda’s verse) for “luxurious” remix. She said it was too 80s for her lol.
