Lol he set the curse then killed yhwach he let him get his power back and let squad and soul king die
And ichibei says that the almighty will only reawaken after yhwach dies. That's why i believe that the goal of yhwach in 1st great war was to be defeated and to be killed so that he can awaken almighty. But he was sealed instead

Yhwach can see the future. Probably saw how guns are made, and then equipped his troops with them.
Why didn't he do that again or if it was not possible than why ?
It's not possible because he use soul King arm to seal almighty and it end up with yhwach
