To be fair not everyone is into martial arts, for sure, and a sad moment here in Iceland the other day as 2 highschool TV quiz teams didn´t know the band METALLICA !!!!.. I suggest philip Rhee and Holeywood to make a Bruce lee film with Master philip Rhee ,,he is the only kick and punch like Bruce lee and i am going to play role with him it is my wish since Bruce lee movie i had seen,,i am doing now Taekwondo but 40 years martial art with kung fu i started 1977 and karate and atlast taekwondo my wish is to play Role in holeywood movie
I loved most of BOTB. I wouldn't say it was "legendary" but definitely one of the "best" (better than Enter The Dragon). If there IS a reboot....tone down the voilence in the ring making it look like a Rocky film. Doesn't happen in actual competition. Have every one wear head and body protection. Focus on technique and tactics. Points. No death in ring of "Tommy's" brother. Say he died weeks after the trounament from kicks to the head....the impacts. That he did walk out of the ring like normal. But the impacts were from "Dae-Han" anyway. If "Tommy" was to get revenge....have him walk up to Dae-Han AFTER the tournament between the American team and the Korean team....make it look like Tommy wants to fight Dae-Han to the death. Say there was rumours. Tommy doesn't. Instead shakes his hand and jwhishes him the best. After Dae-Han and other members save Tommy from a beating from racist thugs....one great TKD tournament fighter vs many is still a no win in the real world.
It's like movie makers are out of ideas(and maybe bubble gums) to create some new orginal projects, but instead they massacre old and cult franchises.With the end of 20th century the golden era of movie making has come to an end too.Gladiator is the last masterpiece at 20th century last breath .
