And i was literally so surprised. I never doubted Imam Ali sayings coz whatever new science theory or discovery i got to know, later I'll be finding the same thing in Imam Ali's Incidents and Sayings.

@@Mohdaguj the movie The Space Odyssey was labeled pseudoscience and unrealistic for its time due to its depiction of superfluous/super-fictitious version of what science can achieve. We currently have that technology in our hands now. The book 1984 by George Orwell was butt of the joke for it's depiction of what technology and hyper-surveillance can do to a society. We are literally living in the Orwellian era right now. What I do love about science in itself, and the scientific process, is that it is a self-cleansing, self-refining, evolutionary cycle. Humanity WILL get to a point in time where "portals" don't seem too far fetched anymore. We call it by the closest name we can, we won't know when it's slowly introduced and normalized into our contexts as easily as AI, VR, and each entailing technology exists right now. Air travel was referred to as "ghaib ka ilm" a few centuries back to try and rationalize what speed traveling meant in Islamic references.

Sahil Adeem sahib is soo right that it brings tears to one’s eyes. The face staring back, when a Muslim looks in the mirror, is quite askew. You have to digest what he says and think. And it is quite shocking when one sees what he says (quite literally) unfolding in everyday life of the modern Muslim.

  • @pod-Qasim

Sahil adeem is assertively eloquent. It isn’t as if he doesn't stop for thinking or that his voice is too smooth, it is just that he know what to speak, when to speak and why to speak❤

As a student of literature I second Sahil adeem that you don't ask teachers for the reference you find it yourself if you are interested or curious enough, but then inclusion of all the references here is really handy. You have all the codes to enter and reach to your desired info . So it's a request to the host to, not to interrupte Sahil bhai and it's a request to Shail bhai to give side note at the end so that editors could pin it out. Which he is very well doing. You guys are doing a fantastic job. And we would like to see him again.

So I am sitting late (in Toronto btw) in office to finish some work,, and then I started this podcast - 3 hours just went by... This is one of the most precious content I have heard so far... I am wishing to meet Sahil someday (soon), have few things/ plans to discuss... 'Purpose of life Of a Muslim' has to be the beginning of life, otherwise its all wasted. To many, few things Sahil said sound so unreal, but they are NOT. Just think (really think deep) about 'nuur' in the light of Quran and hadith. My life literally changed when I read Quran with translation. It just liberated me... ghulam aur azad me farq nazar aane lag gay. Whoever reads this comment, Please read Quran with translation!! it will give you a lens to look at life and existence (of everything) differently - which is real. JazakAllah team!

I think what Sahil Sir is trying to convey here to the Muslims is to treat the Quran as the Absolute source of knowledge (the prism) . Just as a physicist uses the laws of physics not only to explain or verify the physical phenomena of nature but to make progress in different areas of physics and discover new realms based on those established principles, Muslims should use the Quran to interpret and make progress in every aspect of reality and beyond, be it Physics, Biology, Astronomy, Psychology, Mathematics, Literature, Poetry, Spirituality, Warfare, Economics, Life, Death and so on and so on... Am I correct?

I have a small piece of feedback that I hope will help enhance the viewing experience for myself and others. During the live podcast, there are moments when someone walks into the room and passes behind the speaker, which is distracting. Perhaps considering a 'do not disturb' sign or a designated recording area could help minimize interruptions? Just a thought that could make the great work you're doing even better!

It would be a pleasure getting Sahil Sir again on the podcast and focusing discussion only on the pragmatic solution-steps towards all the problems that he is addressing with subtlety and step by step guide of how we can effectively overcome these problems in coming decades. I know that he is heavily focused on developing parenting models and children development programs, and I would love someone to take on him and push him back on his mission and statistics so that we can evaluate and understand how practical his plans are.
