Ayurvedic Doctor Reacts to Supreme Court Verdict on Patanjali Medicines

- As an Ayurvedic doctor, I was invited to a TV news debate to talk supporting Ayurveda & Pathanjali. I denied. Here is why:
I can talk for Ayurveda at length but I am against anyone who advertises internal medicines to the public.
Ayurveda is all about individualised treatment. One man’s medicine could be another man’s poison. What works for one person may not work for all & may cause consequences if not taken by the right person at the right time at the right place. Each internal medicine in Ayurveda must be given after careful consideration of the nature of the person (Prakriti), vikriti (imbalances), digestion(Agni), elimination (mala) evaluation of tissue systems (dhatus), thoughts (mana) and environment (Desha). That’s real Ayurveda!
How can you know all of these without thoroughly knowing a patient? Internal medicines must be administered carefully. It should not be a mass-market product like external oils and creams.
Any Ayurvedic medicine consumed internally has to be taken only after talking to a QUALIFIED, REAL Ayurvedic doctor.

Completely agree and much needed content from a source like you. But a suggestion, please do this same content in hindi, because a major audience who is blind follower of Patanjali is actually Hindi speaking. Would reach more who need.
Will try :)
"One man's medicine is another man's poison" Thank you for saying this Doctor🙏
"You're welcome! It's a reminder that what works for one person might not work for another. It's all about finding what's right for you.
Very few ayurvedic practitioners are talking about heavy metals found in formulations. Thank you for starting the conversation on this topic. Hope you will continue to demystify this issue. For instance, why has lead been found in so many reputable Ayurvedic brands’ products such as triphala?
Much needed video!! Thank you Dr. Rekha ..God bless you!✨❤️
Glad it was helpful!
But u mentioned one remedy for all regarding root canal treatment.can u please give the insight
Hello Doctor Rakha, your knowledge in Ayurveda is commendable and I bow down to your expertise. I want to come for the treatment of IBD (Ulcerative Colitis). I am sick of Allopathic medicines and have stopped them for more than 5yrs now. I was looking for the right doctor and I found one that is YOU! Where can I come to get treatment? I live in Bengaluru though. Hats off to your video presentations and talking TRUTH boldly!

Well timed & articulated. Thank you for spreading the wisdom!
Thank you Naga! Love always....
Hi ma'am
According to ayurveda...how many hours we have to sleep?
30 to 40 years old
Thanks. One request: Could u pls clarify on Chyawanprash whether one can consume it on regular basis ? Does it need any gap or intervals ? Pls advise. Regards.
I do not advise chyawanaprash to most of my patients due to overload of sugar. Most brands, because every brand is trying to sell the same product in similar price points, and they are all competing on price, cheaper qualities of ingredients are used - which you will never know as a consumer, because the ingredient is the same and will be written on the label. For example, if a brand medicine medicine mention sesame as an ingredient they can add cheapest sesame seeds or the best quality ones which are enormously expensive. They will not add the best quality sesame seeds because then they won't be able to match the price. That's why I recommend not buying these branded chyawanprash. Coz you have no idea what goes in it
Absolutely correct!
Thanks for speaking up. Because of these kind of public distribution of ayurvedic medicines by some brands, Ayurveda as a whole is blamed by Doctors practicing Allopathy.
True
Right on point, you were able to articulate the intricacies of ayurveda in simple words.
Thank you
I think part of the problem is also that people say "ayurveda has no side effects" so people think that the same medicine can be taken by everyone and the worst scenario is the medicine not helping them.
True

Currently abuse and overuse of doctor prescribed drugs is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US & Europe as per National Institutes of Health. Not too sure how much of data is maintained by India on this regard. Coming to Patanjali, it has multiple centers where they always have an ayurvedic doctor, with whom the patient consults and then purchases the medications accordingly. So I disagree with you on people having free access to the medicines without consultation. Just that Patanjali centers make it easy & cheap and so many of my family and friends have seen very good results including myself.
I did have some more to say but yt accept nahin kar raha
Very true
But not everyone takes medicines from Patanjali after consultation, but after seeing the ads.
Compared to the Patanjali centres, their ayurvedic medicines are what are known to all as they sell those aggressively. It should be clear to everyone that Patanjali is basically an FMCG company with no concern for its customers’ health. Coronil is a prime example of how low these people can get.
I support Patanjali
I love Baba Ramdev
6:45 no fituber was harmed in this video
True :)
You claim that you have treated 20,000+ patients.....you also know from within....that the increase of trust in Ayurveda is just because of BABA RAMDEV....
Otherwise no matter how good a doctor you may be....people will not only come to you for treatment......
You have to give credit to BABA RAMDEV.
Watch the video again
What the hell man!!!! Don't trust anyone blindly in terms of your health.
