    As an ex British Army veteran I was interested how many military graves were in that cemetery.
    I've only ever been to Arlington once whilst visiting the U.S. back in 2002 and I was lost for words.
    I research WW1 graves in the U.K. and was wondering if those graves were a mixture of WW1,WW2 and other conflicts?
    It was quite amazing to see them all looking so clean and tended as the M.O.D. here in the U.K. seem to forget alot of the military graves.

The best replacement was him. Don’t Look Any Further is STILL my mf’n song! My wife & I sing it to each other, duet style lol. It birthed one of the illest diss songs too. What a loss. In many ways, Paul Williams was the Temptations' unsung hero. He and Eddie Kendricks were their original lead singers, but when the Motown group broke worldwide and became soul heroes with “My Girl” in 1964, it was David Ruffin's voice that rang out.

    • @debraharshaw6154

      But Otis Williams started the whole group

    • @jaylene.turner6524
      @jaylene.turner6524 Год назад +5

      Not true.
      The group had their first R&B hit with
      “Dream Come True” in 1962 with
      Eddie Kendricks singing lead,
      and Elbridge Bryant,Otis Williams,
      Paul Williams,and Melvin Franklin
      singing background.
      It peaked at #22 on the R&B chart.
      Even when David came in and replaced
      Elbridge,
      he was still in the background while
      Eddie sang on the first four hits they had in a row:
      “The Way You Do The Things You Do”,
      “I’ll Be In Trouble”,
      “The Girl’s Alright With Me”,
      and
      “Girl,(Why You Wanna Make Me Blue)”.

    He was the seventh
    Temptations member overall,
    and replaced David Ruffin on
    June 28th,1968 just one day
    after Ruffin was fired.
    Dennis was in the group from
    1968-1977;
    1980-1984;
    1987-1989.
    Founding members
    Otis Williams and Eddie Kendricks
    also observed him when he sang
    months before they fired David.
    The group had far more
    success with him than they had with David becoming the first Motown group to win a Grammy.
    (They won three out of their
    four Grammys with him.)
    May he continue to rest in eternal peace.

    Love the Temptations! ❤ They had the dance moves and dressed so classy. Not that they needed the dancing or the clothes. TY Lamont for sharing this information on Dennis. My daughter and SIL gave out cd’s with their favorite music at their wedding in 2009. “My Girl” was one of those songs.

    You should do a video on Rodger Penzabene sometime. He was a young writer for Motown records who wrote "Wish it would rain" but committed suicide before the song was ever released. Theres not a lot out there on him and he seems to have been largely forgotten.
