I've literally have been crying thinking I didn't have anywhere near enough for my baby to come but seeing this I have more than he will probably need, you're a life saver!! Thank you!!
I love yr positive attitude & spontaneity. The camera loves you too. Yeah, I like this minimalist approach & as we mature in life, I try to be less selfish, think about the planet, about people in need & who are deprived from the basics of life, & save resources. I also don't wanna keep being a slave of a consumerism lifestyle. Thank you for sharing
I liked your video a lot. I also thought it was cool that you didn’t select only luxury brands. It feels so disingenuous when folks claim to be minimalist but not financially minimal. It was refreshing you weren’t like that.
wow, those words are so kind Melissa. Thanks. We're definitely financially minimal, we don't the other option lol. BUT what Tate(my husband) and I both say is how important it is to know and remember this all our life. We're learning valuable lessons without money, ones that we want to keep with us forever.
Thank you so much for this. As a fellow minimalist I SO APPRECIATE THIS!!! I absolutely love living more simply and want to welcome baby in a simple way too ❤
You can be a lot more bare bones if you really want to be minimal with newborns! You can reuse jars for milk storage, definitely don’t need a bottle brush and pretty much any hand bag can be repurposed as a diaper bag!
This list has been SUPER helpful! Took so much pressure and stress off of me with so many options to choose from! I love your more natural approach and the content you’ve put out. So glad I found your channel!
Low key love allllll your videos. My husband and I travel for work too so we are constantly on the go and it’s just so nice have someone who gets it and understands how important it is to minimize.
ahhh yes, thanks for saying hi. Connecting with someone who get it always makes me smile. I give all the credit to this lifestyle for teaching me all of this! Thanks for saying these kind words
Thank you for another great video. I just want to add, that, in our opinion, you absolutely do not need a monitor of any kind. We never had one, never used one and never missed anything. In our opinion it is all about trusting your instincts. But, we needed formula and bottles, it was an essential. So, everyone is different, right? 🙃
Ya know, I think you're right. I've recently been learning about how much radiation they give off so we stopped using ours. Totally natural and instinctual. Yes! Ah thanks for sharing this!
Great list! I tried to be much more minimal with our second and still had too much. I would also recommend saline nose spray and some type of nose sucker to keep their nose clear.
Definitely a minimalist essentials 🙌🏼👏🏼 thanks for your video. I’m 36 weeks and this is the first video I can say the minimal. The others says minimal but I have a LOT lol
Ah goodie! Thanks for sharing these kind words. I was honestly forced to live incredibly minimally so I know from experience what you need, and my list is even smaller now!
Thank you for this video! I’m having to move in with my parents for a while because my husband and I live in China but I’ve had some issues with my visa to stay here so I’m getting sent back to America and my family can’t have much because there’s not enough room for everything
You also are going to need breastmilks bags? You can re pourpose glass jars from jam, mayoinese and such as long as you clean them and boliled them first, so is it really necesary?
I like your recommendations! I've done a lot of these myself as well. I used a graco pack n play that has the bassinet. I saved so much money never buying a bassinet! Also love Dr. Paul Thomas as well. Reading the vaccine friendly plan was really eye-opening and helpful. The first forty days sounds like a really good book.
Another good non-biased vaccine book is “the vaccine book” by Robert Sears! And the book “the Informed Parent”. Thanks for the 40 days suggestion! Going to get that one now! :)

Really glad you showed how to put on that wrap right quick no one ever does that so much less intimidating

I am the exact same way!! It’s so cool to find other minimal moms who think the same way! Loving your channel 💗
I love how simple you are!!! I just relate to you so much and I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like simpler is better! 💜

Minimalism is another thing I’m going to miss about the baseball life! Thank you for this video :)
Absolutely, thanks for watching!! I’m hoping o can take this minimalism with me post-baseball🙏🏼
This was great advice for new moms. :o) Your hair looks amazing, by the way.
Ah thank you!!
hahaha thank you! That's what it looks like when I do it, lol!

I guess if you’re building a freezer stash to save space
Love this! Thanks for the video
So welcome! Thanks for being here

ah love this! Also, love meeting like-minded mamas. you've got to look at that book. It's also very aesthetically pleasing, all the better
Love the theme of the video but repeating the baseball thing over and over 🙄
I don't see beauty counter diaper cream available anymore 🙁
They got rid of it to focus on their skin care:( It was the best! But I'm sure there's other good stuff out there.
Another good non-biased vaccine book is “the vaccine book” by Robert Sears! And the book “the Informed Parent”. Thanks for the 40 days suggestion! Going to get that one now! :)
Oh brilliant!! Thank you!!! I’m always in need of more recs
I am great full that you recommended this book! More moms to be or families in general should read it! Thank you for sharing!
@@ivonacrnogorac3261 Thanks for that encouragement! Means so much. I'm just glad someone shared it with me! I was searching for a good one for YEARS.
The green tube inside the dr browns bottle is plastic...defeats the purpose of the outside being glass. The milk will still touch the green plastic.
But it's gotta be less exposure right? That's what I went with. I can't be perfect about it...I wish I could. but I just have to use what I've got
Numbing agents in baby soap? That's not a thing.
Yes, the vaccine friendly book is incredible, a book all new parents should read.
yes!! Just gives you the information you need to make the best decision.
I’ve never seen someone who talks with their hands so much, kinda distracting...
I feel like you don't watch a lot of youtube then
