I don't think any of this video is boring! I love learning from you. Your voice is calming and I love how you take your time to teach or share info without being so busy like other content creators! Keep it up!
It's so funny knowing that you too go to a library to work. I'm traveling the world and everywhere I look for a library. I love those public spaces as the internet is really good and it's always nice to get a few hours of work done instead of sitting at home! Being a RUclipsr is a lot of work, but I'm still loving it and still growing and improving always!
What I like about you, Katie, is that you come across so comfortable just to show everything (realistically), well obviously to a certain point and you are not concerned that you are exposing yourself too much. I actually thing this is what works for you - is this pure genuine strick, even if it's only what it seems like (but I believe it's genuine) - you do it superbly.
I just found your channel today and wanted to say you are a breath of fresh air. I love your authenticity, how down to earth you are, and how you provide clear, organized, and thorough information. Your channel is very helpful and inspiring. Keep it up. You are wonderful!
This was very informative! Definitely different from the other "day in my life as a content creator" out there. The ones I've watched previously make me feel distant but yours didn't! I think it's because you're open to sharing tips and the actual behind the scenes without trying to look a certain way. Keep doing you! :)
I love seeing what other RUclipsrs get up to in a day! Also appreciate your editing style beaut 🥰 I also love how you incorporate this VLOG style in all of your videos :). Also agree that there are a lot of extra things that people probably don't realise until you are in the job! Thanks for sharing an insight into your day ❤
not boring at all, it's so interesting to know the real thing! i've always wondered how youtubers get paid and all the taxes part specially if you're outside of the us or the company's country so this was perfect!!
Really enjoy the break down of these videos! Really helps. never knew how much work it is to be a youtuber! everyone says they want to be one but the behind the scenes is a lot. i am very excited to start sharing my story ! thank you !!!!!!
I found you a few weeks ago and I am so glad that I did! I absolutely love your vlogs and appreciate the behind the scenes look. I enjoy seeing your process since I’m doing the same thing, but at the very beginning…thank you for all the valuable information you give!
I love these vlog-style videos! I don't make youtube videos. I was sucked in more for the Instagram tips, but I love seeing what you're up to and how you structure your day!
I really like this Vlog tips hybrid because I get the chance to see more of your personality, how hard working you are that goes unseen when it’s all BTS- and it helps me digest the knowledge shared at a good steady pace, I like to reflect and genuinely apply the tips and see how it would work for myself- but when people who provide advice in this industry for marketing and youtube, they do it in such a quick pace to avoid viewer retention levels dropping; but as a side consequence I walk away with a level of high anxiety. It feels like after I watch many of those videos, I feel overwhelmed, confused, and I need to slow down their videos and sounds so distorted and creepy and unnatural still with how there is no moments to breath in between tips and pointers. So this pace, showing the in betweens, the music, and b rolls gives a lot of non spoken information on what it is your teaching us- which is just as effective as constantly throwing information at us verbally! I hope this helps, I enjoy vloggers and also social media tips- but I love this more human interaction relaxed humanly pace approach to teaching 🥰🥰💗💗🙏🏻🙏🏻
I loved this video, especially the editing process! I’m new to content creating (10 months) and I’m really trying to improve the quality of my videos and your front loading idea is such a great bit of advice. Love to see more on this topic 🥰
I know what it feels like Ike to put that one project for the next day bc you already did so much! Omg I love these tips and advice also day/week in the life is cool it’s really helpful knowing how other successful creators structure their day
First of all, I really enjoy your simple & zen content. Nice to listen to in the mornings while I’m getting ready! Question- I’m wondering how you learned the info you have in this? Like did you learn from specific searching or specific creators? Or did you just try things & learn from mistakes & fix them ?
YASSS Queen!! More vlogs like this. Thank you so much for being so value-oriented. I'm so glad I found your channel. And I did watch that vlog you posted recently, and I loved it too!
I loved this video! As someone who is planning to start a RUclips and is hoping to be a full time content creator sometime in the next couple of years, this is great content to watch. I always love your tips and insights 💗
For beginner old me, not one second was boring. 😅 Thank you so much for sharing A WHOLE LOT MORE than others and making us understand what it's all like. ❤🙏
Adobe premiere is the program that she was using. You don't need to invest in that right away though if you're just getting started. DaVinci resolve is free and there are great tutorials available on youtube to figure out if this is "for you"! Good luck! 🍀
Very fascinating video. It gives an idea that content creators have more on their plate than what they show. Sometimes kids need to see this to show them that staying in school is impt as well and it’s not just do crazy stuff in social media. In order to have longevity, you need the business savvy.
Are you able to make a video discussing how you find your audio and when you add it in? I feel like I take too much time searching and making sure I can use what I’ve found legally. Thanks for the content! Keep it coming because I definitely look forward to your uploads
I remember in one of your other videos you said you loved vlogging and used to try it but it wasn't picking up traction.... so I'm so glad you get to still vlog while still giving youtube advice :)))) . It's filmed very well!
No, no, no. It's interesting hearing about papal charges, and what kinds of invoices, how to know what to charge. How about a video on all the business stuff we should know but don't?
Love these vlogs. I don't make really make youtube videos (yet) aside from a couple tutorials, but I feel like this is the info I need, because it helps me readjust my own expectations of how much I can get done in a day and gives me ideas of things I might be able to do in the future.
This was so fun to watch! Thanks for sharing this behind the scenes. I definitely want to see more vlogs. I’m curious about brand deals as well… personally I’ve only had one since starting my channel in 2018. I have had brands reach out, but I generally say no because I’m not ready for the amount of work involved. So I’d love to see a video on how you handle deciding on brands to work with and how to know they’re legitimate if they reach out to you first. Thank you!
Hi Katie, love this type of content. I like the idea of making the editing more dynamic in the first half of your video. Thanks for sharing all your tips with us. 💗
Thank you for the transparency. So happy I found your channel! Not sure if you take suggestion but I would love to see you break down the process of creating an actual LLC for your RUclips. I’d love to see your insight or process on how you did it. Can’t wait to catch up on your content. Peace and blessings to you!
So great watching this! I have a really similar brand deal database in notion!! Also the MOST comforting part was that oh heavy loading the front of your video. I’m editing a video right now and burning myself out trying to make it all “spicy” but is not the best use of my time 🤦🏽♀️😭
Hi Katie! I just discovered your channel recently and I'm loving all your tips and tricks. You have such a cool, easy vibe about you and you're a natural storyteller - something that I'm still struggling with on my own channel. Thanks for the amazing content you put out there :)
Thank you for showing the editing side too!!! The Editing program to me sometimes is so confusing!!!!!!! I wonder if you would ever share videos on how to edit videos? Just a idea? I would love to watch you teach us that! Your teaching style is very engaging!
Hi Katie I love your channel and cool friendly style. I know where you are coming from. I just made my first vlog and I’m working on editing it now. Not easy because it’s my first. Thank you for all your tips 🙏🏾
If you are in US you have to send a W9 and invoice. I don’t like dealing with the paperwork stuff but so important to understand whitelisting, paid usage, exclusivity etc so we can get paid more.
just to preface I didn't do this with this video I just wanted to say. AS A RUclipsr myself sometimes if I see myself about to click off of a video (especially of small YTers) I stop myself cuz I wouldn't want them to do that to me if there were 2 seconds of downtime.
I love this video Katie, thank you for sharing. I especially liked how you spoke about how you get paid by brands. I'd like to see another video on this, plus how you can start reaching out to brands.
I don't think any of this video is boring! I love learning from you. Your voice is calming and I love how you take your time to teach or share info without being so busy like other content creators! Keep it up!
I love how your videos are so informative while also sharing parts of your day/life please continue to share your process! 💕
I’m here for the breakdown that you gave for your formatting, it definitely makes sense
It's so funny knowing that you too go to a library to work. I'm traveling the world and everywhere I look for a library. I love those public spaces as the internet is really good and it's always nice to get a few hours of work done instead of sitting at home!

I always watch your videos until the end, they're always so engaging! I would love to see more of your youtube process!

Yesss Katie!! I’m so glad you’re adding more vlog like content to your videos! You are such an inspiration
Would you ever do more in-depth videos on how to do brand deals. Ie, how to invoice, writing brand emails, keeping track?
Absolutely love this style of video - the combination of tips and vlog!!! Amazing!
Love the vlog style editing boo ! Tysm for the tips
love these types of videos! the video editing tip about front loading with engaging effects was helpful! thank you :)
I love seeing what other RUclipsrs get up to in a day! Also appreciate your editing style beaut 🥰 I also love how you incorporate this VLOG style in all of your videos :). Such a good tip on trying to edit the 6 minute time as interesting as possible to increase retention but less edits during the later parts!
Yes!!!!! That's what I was thinking
I really enjoyed the vlog style of this video and thank you for the tips ❤
So happy to be here for another vlog style video 🖤🙌
Really enjoy the break down of these videos! Really helps. never knew how much work it is to be a youtuber! everyone says they want to be one but the behind the scenes is a lot. i am very excited to start sharing my story ! thank you !!!!!!

Love this video!! I truly love your behind the scenes of your edit. It's great to hear your thought process. Thank you for sharing!
I love this style of videos and the way you're so natural in camera! Thank you!

Can you do a video on your youtube gear?
Yes!!! This would be amazing!!!
Yes 🥰

Thanks for sharing such a raw BTS video! I was craving a coffee after watching you make yours as well LOL
So you were filming this video while editing the previous one? Or did you edit it before and just showed it how you do it now?
Thank you for showing the editing side too!!! The Editing program to me sometimes is so confusing!!!!!!! I wonder if you would ever share videos on how to edit videos? Just a idea? I would love to watch you teach us that! Your teaching style is very engaging!
Thanks for the Gems 💎

just to preface I didn't do this with this video I just wanted to say. AS A RUclipsr myself sometimes if I see myself about to click off of a video (especially of small YTers) I stop myself cuz I wouldn't want them to do that to me if there were 2 seconds of downtime.
I’m a Tara! This was a fun vlog!
I love this video Katie, thank you for sharing. I especially liked how you spoke about how you get paid by brands. I'd like to see another video on this, plus how you can start reaching out to brands.

@@katie yes please
Very informative. Do you have any videos about how AdSense works?
I'm here early (: hoping to make it on youtube too!
Making money on youtube without a following on other platforms is so much harder than people think.
