Lighting is a huge issue for me. I'd love to see a bird's eye view of a filming setup with a small light. I struggle with figuring out how to place everything. in a small space.
As a creator who is stepping into vloggin, interviews and alike, I am LOVING your content! I have a great understanding of creation and how-to, but having ADHD can make it quite the task brining my ideas and gutfeeling to life - Seeing your videos, learning, become inspired by them - I cannot thank you enough!
Thank you, Katie! I’ve learnt so much through this video you made. Can you make a video of how we can film if the house is full of mirrors and glass windows? It has been tricky for me!
What basic knowledge does one need to start? I know nothing about editing, how to make words pop up, insert pictures on side while I am filming.. Is there a class I can attend to learn all this? Also, I have an idea on a niche. In a previous video I saw you mentioned to think through having a purpose, think about what reason will I provide people to want to watch my videos. How do I know if my niche is a good idea?
I just need to plan my videos better in advance. So I can incorporate some of these strategies. Sometimes I film b-roll but it’s always an after thought while editing. Also you said I can film in 4K but export in 1080p 🤔 I need to learn how to to do this.
I love that you brought this up since I don't see many creators talk about this. From an editing perspective, one thing that I have done is one long take keeping the camera rolling from scene change to scene change. Provided you are using a small space like in your video, the clip organization and editing are much easier to manage saving time and frustration.
Hello Katie I love your content. My question is I do informative content for a older audience do you think this way of filming would be good for me to do. I love your style of creating content. Thank you 💗
Your videos are beyond helpful! I just started my RUclips channel and I’m so happy I found your content! I’ve been wondering why you switch to your hammock chair in your videos but now I get it and it makes a lot of sense! Thanks for all the great info 🙏🏾
I love this!!!! I live in a 20ft long camper trailer full time, and my “art studio” space is actually just the bunk house I converted into a standing desk! I have ZERO room to film, so I’m going to try to use these tips!!! Thank you!!
I don't change the angles because my condenser mic is plugged on my pc, so I need to always be close to my pc, plus I need to check my scrypt at my monitor, and I record the image with my cellphone. 😕
Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $7,000 investment every 10days..
That's awesome. I dealt with crypto last year on Robinhood, tried some index but didn't take it out so I lost it by the end. Any consistent strategies?
When I glance through your comments, I know you must be talking about Mrs Jessica Madilyn McMain. It's been 3 months of steady crypto growth using her trading strategy.
She is also my personal trader, crypto analyst and account manager. With an initial invested capital of $8000,it yielded returns of over $22000 within two weeks of trading. I was really impressed by the profit Actualized
@@gracedenise8525 Hey, I invested largely on stock market last year, tried some index but my experience doesn't pay me. I have lost so much trading by myself Please is there any handle or link can get to her?

Thanks for the tips! I live in tiny room since I live in San Francisco, I try to do different angles but it's difficult because my room is very very small lol 😂 I am not exaggerating
@@JustShannaBE exactly, I can't take my glasses off because I don't see anything and also all my pictures and videos usually are with me with glasses, so if I start showing off without it, people start telling me that I don't look like me 🤣
im more waiting on privacy and a better background... no one likes to sit and talk to the camera with people around 🙄 but im a mom, so privacy doesn't exist.

Another thing is that depending what you have in the room you could change up the layout and background to keep it feeling fresh.

You can record in 4k but when you export the video they should give you the option on what resolution and frame rate you want to use.
This video was so helpful. Thanks so much for sharing the wonderful tips💕

You would have to try it out and see what your audience says.

Setting the light to bounce off the wall is the most awesome tip!! Thank you 😘
Agreed! Main takeaway from the video
Do you memorize your script ? how do you do to deliver a neat video with some actual deepness into what you say without going of topic.
You could memorize it or have a tablet or peace of paper in front of you with bullet point topics.
I don't change the angles because my condenser mic is plugged on my pc, so I need to always be close to my pc, plus I need to check my scrypt at my monitor, and I record the image with my cellphone. 😕

useful 8mins on filming
How do you do to avoid light direct to your glasses? I hate that, sometimes I see that and not my eyes
I would love to know too. I usually take off my glasses. Lol but then I cannot see my bullet points and my videos takes so much longer to film.
@@JustShannaBE exactly, I can't take my glasses off because I don't see anything and also all my pictures and videos usually are with me with glasses, so if I start showing off without it, people start telling me that I don't look like me 🤣
This doesn’t apply to me, as I do manicures in my videos and need to sit at a desk. But this these are amazing tips!
