@@siennal6064 hi there! Custodial is a cleaner😊So that could be around the parks/Disney springs and could either be roaming or guest facilities :)

Congratulations! You pick your roles once you’re successful after the pre screen and then you have the opportunity to discuss it at your Disney interview! X

Hi Sarah! Are you doing the CEP2023 or is it something you’re considering doing?😊When I applied I found a Facebook group for the Cultural Exchange Program 2023 and from there someone added me into a messenger group. It’s now full of people doing the program which has been great in terms of getting to know people and finding out where everyone is from! For your room, about a month before you fly out you’ll receive an email where you can select what type of room you want. You can either have your own room and own bathroom, your own room and shared bathroom, or a shared room and shared bathroom. Although you can choose your preference for type of room, nothing is guaranteed and most people will end up with the shared bedroom and shared bathroom option😊if you’d like to talk to me more feel free to message me on Insta! Took me about 4 days but it’s different for everyone! :)

Hi Tia! How exciting! For me I joined a Facebook group for all CEP applicants (so mine was Disney CEP 2023 or something like that?) and from there someone added me to one on FB messenger xx

Yeah I’m not sure! I think for US participants you’re eligible for a wider choice of job roles as well as other benefits, but the CEP is great for us international students to have the chance to experience Disney life!😊x

What kind of questions do they asked you in the interview? Im having the interview in a few weeks🥺
First of all congrats girl!! That’s so exciting!! The prescreen is super relaxed, it genuinely feels more like a conversation than an actual interview. They’re more trying to figure out if you’ve got the charisma to be a cast member so just make sure you’re super smiley, chatty and confident😊they’ll ask you questions about what are your strengths, why do you want to do the program, how will you cope sharing a room and working in the heat etc - it’s dead straight forward and over in about 10 mins! :)

Hey girl!! First of all thank you so much and congratulations!! You should be so proud of yourself, the fact Disney want to see you in person is a huge achievement🫶🏼Not to get your hopes up, but for the last two years (so my lot this year and the ones from last summer) 99% of people who got a Disney in-person interview got onto the program, so fingers crossed the same thing happens for you👀this interview is more role based so they’ll be trying to find out which role you want and why. They’ll ask you which is your preferred role and why you think you’ll be best suited to it. They might ask you how you’d feel doing your third or fourth choice role (so for me, my interviewer asked me how I’d feel about Lifeguarding which was my third choice) - I explained that of course I’d love to do the role (because you know, anything to sound keen!) but I explained why I thought I’d be more suited and could play to my strengths if I did Merchandise. I was then able to swivel the question and talk about why I’d be great at doing Merch/Attractions. Luckily for me, that seemed to work and I got my top choice! I know that for a lot of people, if the interviewer asked them about one of their lower preferred roles, they just said yes wayyy too quickly and they ended up doing a role that they didn’t really want to do. Just make sure you’re super clear as to why you’d be great at your first choice to avoid this! Good luck girl!!
@@immiehearsonthank you so SO much for replying!! it’s literally reassured me so much🥹 my top role would 100% be merchandise too, and it’s the main area i have experience in, so i’ll definitely keep that in mind and try and relate everything back! but honestly i’ll be happy with any role if i get on aha! will definitely let you know how it goes :)
