Thank you so much for this! I fly out for my program at the end of the week and this has made me feel a lot more at ease

Thank you for the video Immie!
I have my pre-screen on Monday, so i'm hoping for the best ahaha. One of my questions is, if I get a pass for Universal, how expensive (I know you said cheap, but its nice to see numbers ahah) was travel to and from Universal? Because i'd love to go (as for the disney parks too) as many times as I would possibly be able to handle, but obviously its still a cost to travel!

Hey! Thanks for watching my video and congratulations for getting to the pre screen! Typically to get to Universal (or Cowboys as they’re very near each other) it cost between $15 and $25 each way. But most of the time I was with my group of 5 girls so we just split it between us all which made it so cheap. It’s a 30 minute drive so it felt very affordable, especially because we’d already made our money back on our annual passes (so we’re technically getting into Universal for free!) Hope that helps! Xx

Thank you! And chip and dale ticket is a ‘free’ ticket that you can use for your friend/family! You have to be an active cast member to use it and you also have to accompany them at the entrance (you can’t just give them the ticket and let them go into a park alone) x

    Hi Immie!!
Thank you for your video, it was really helpful! I have a few questions:
    - How much do you have to pay for renting a shopping wagon?
    - Since there are many departures at Disney Flamingo Crossing, is there a way to buy items like pots, pans, or even bed sheets that others don’t want to take home? Is there a group for this to avoid spending too much on these items?
    - Can you ask your leaders for an extension of two more weeks on your blue card validity to enjoy the parks after your program ends?
    - I’ve seen in other videos that some participants get an annual pass to Universal Orlando. Is it worth it in your opinion?
Thanks again for all the info!

      Hiya! These are great questions!
      - The wagons are free to rent from Flamingo! You just give them your ID and then you can get it back when you return your wagon
      - Have a look for a Facebook group called DCP Flamingo Buy/Sell/Trade - there might be stuff on there for you
      - You can definitely ask for an extension, but I highly doubt it because your Self Admission Pass is only for active cast members unfortunately
      - 10000% get a Universal Annual Pass. You can purchase it from Guest Services at Universal but take a copy of your Flamingo Rent agreement so that you can get a Florida Resident Discount on your pass! I got the Power Pass which cost about $400 - you only need to go twice to make your money back and I went 3 times in my first week alone!!
Have the most amazing time on your program! Xx

Hi! This might seem a silly question. Is flamingo the apartments that all cast members stay? Is there others?
Also, did you break even or did you lose/make a bit more money?

    • @immiehearson
      @immiehearson  2 месяца назад

Not a silly question at all! Flamingo is where all CPs (college/university program participants) stay, but part time and full time cast members will live at home. For me I feel like I broke even doing this program, maybe at a push I made a few hundred dollars but I went to Miami at the end of the program so I spent it staying there :)
