Wow looks like Bo had a wonderful Birthday she’s so lucky to have such a wonderful family! So glad the tub nightmare is over, Jaime you have done a great job congrats. Simply life is delightful I see. Love to watch you guys ♥️
That’s awesome! Enjoy it! The weather is awesome right now 😉 if you need any recommendations, check out our other videos or one page guide on our site: hyggehousebc.com/
Thanks for the tip of where to go when the lake is down! My husband is intrigued by the history "under" Fontana, the bridges were a highlight and we have toddlers making this spot a go to on our list! We just moved home and are busy scouting trails.
Oh my gosh you’re so welcome! It’s such a hidden gem and perfect to go with kids (it’s usually empty so they can run around as they please!) happy hiking!! 🌄💙
@@thegreenehome yes! The freedom was great for them. Planning on Nolan Creek next, AT from Teleco to Wesser firetower wasn't quite their speed 🤣 maybe we will see yall around town. You're videos are great little snips of the area.
@@sarahchapman1053 yes!! Please say hi if you see us! We’re typically at BCO (well once it warms up a bit 😂).. Nolan is soo good for a quickie stroll, I bet your kids will love it!
Hey Kevin! We can't figure out why your comment disappeared :( sorry about that. But we'll reply here and hopefully you get it! COMMENT: Kevin Berdugo Hello from Miami lakes! Me and my family will be going to BC on the 16 of feb. any recommended spots to visit? Also any snow in the up coming days? Oh hey, Miami Lakes! Jaime used to work in that area ;) We just had snow! So hopefully you get some while you're in town! Here's a few recos: In town, you must see: Bryson City Outdoors and Mountain Layers (you can chill indoors/on a covered/heated patio, have a beer and it's a very small mountain town charming vibe). Food: nice n' fancy: everett st bistro, if not, Anythony's is cool for casual pizza and views of the railroad. High Test Deli (awesome sandwiches to go - which you can take to either brewery). Mexican food: La Poblana (casual, authentic). Coffee: Dolce Vita, hang there for a bit it's nice! Breakfast Everett St Diner (southern food!). Outdoors (should the rain/snow calm down) take a walk through Deep Creek, go to the Road to Nowhere (these are easy strolls/hikes nothing crazy). Nearby, check out the elk in Cherokee they are lovely to see, visitor's center is cute too (oconaluftee visitor's center)! More intense hikes up that way :)
Hey guys! Great video. We’re just up the road from you a bit near Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Our son is a deputy there in Swain. We are hoping to do a video on the lake when it’s drained, so appreciate the tip.
Thanks for watching! We can't tell you how many people (including ourselves) fell in love with Bryson City visiting and found their way here 😊 Hopefully, you can come visit again soon! 🌄💛
Nice video! Glad you got your tub. Hay, what are the summers like in the Bryson City area. Is it humid? Would love some honest info on the weather. Thank you!
Thank you!! Okay so summers are awesome! They are hot but when you’re hiking in the forest it’s typically a bit cooler so it’s not too bad. Bryson City is definitely humid but not that sticky unbearable humidity... to be fair though, we are originally from Miami where the humidity is REAL BAD so in comparison, it’s nothing to us. The weather is honestly great, no season is too harsh, it’s part of why we moved here 😎
Hey Paul! We are safe in NC and our family in Miami was thankfully not affected. Fort Meyers got the worst of it and we have some friends who are aiding in relief efforts. It’s devastating and we are praying for them 🙏🏻 thank you for checking in!
Hey Ann! We definitely have some work from home videos coming soon. We use Sky Wave here in Bryson City (it's by far the best!). We need reliable wifi since we both work remotely & it gets the job done! Other options are Frontier, which is okay depending on where you are (we hear). Any other q's or requests, please let us know!
I tried living in Bryson City. My boss lady made fun of my North Carolina country accent and ask was I from SC. I can't help her big butt was basically raised in Cali. I tried to be friendly and got ignored. I left after a month. Knew I shouldn't have listened to my friend and moved to Brevard instead. Have tons of kin there even tho we don't know each other. Bryson City is nice to visit but I'm not the only one who says don't move there.
Hey Thelda! Oh gosh we’re so sorry you had a bad experience :/ while we haven’t had the same experience, we’re still super sad to hear that. Hope you love wherever you ended up moving 🙏🏻😊 sending you good vibes!
Hey! Hmm we have not run any recently, pretty much since vaccines came out and the governor lifted the mask mandate, you are free to wear one of you please but no one is making you :) oh yay! Where are you thinking to move?!
Hi. Thanks for your videos! Just curious if you transferred to NC for work or do you both work remotely? I am looking at western NC but likely not until retirement. Also was curious about demographics in town. Mostly your age, older retirees or mix. Thanks!

Oh God my 3yo Yellow Lab would go insane in that store! He would be totally out of control LOL...Great job on the tub!!!
You'll just have to bring him! 🐶 Thank you!! We feel so relieved! On to the next project 😜

Beautiful area up there, but be careful using flexible pipe on the drain to your bathtub.

Wikipedia under the different cities you are interested in, has the census data on demographics. But, the numbers are from the 2010 census.

why do people feel that to fill in gaps with their music?
Music is too loud and makes it difficult to hear your voice.
