Surprisingly, that’s actually not true. Most people thought there was something wrong with the navigation systems. It wasn’t until the Pentagon got hit when people started speculating and attack. When the 4th plane went down after trying to reach the White House everyone knew it was no accident.

The fact that my grandma was at the same international airport of Orlando the same day that the hijackers went through the airport. She landed in the same airport in this clip at 9:03 am on the same day and year. So glad she’s alive.

Even tho its been over 20 years I still can't forget that day. I lost my uncle that day but he saved me. He took me out of tower 1 but he went back in to help others. After that some firefighter grab me and ran a few blocks. I remember the screams and agony. I didn't know what was happening till we stopped. Then I saw it. All I could think of was my uncle. God I just hope he didn't suffer. But is cause of him im still alive. But is my fault he's dead. We wouldn't be there if it wasn't for me asking to go there for my birthday. Even tho my aunt and the rest of the family don't blame me and I still do. R. I. P. Uncle Omar and thank u for helping and saving me. R. I. P. To all of those who lost their lives that day. And God bless those who helped and tried their best. I will never forget this. Never.

I'm from India and I have been struggling since I was born 1978... during 9/11 I was in great pain
Nobody knew it was no accident at first, I get that but they should have began evacuating Tower 2 as a precaution as well just in case and then a whole lot of lives would have been spared in Tower 2, and a lot of people on the upper floors would have made it below the impact zone at least by the time the second plane crashed and if we’re being honest and realistic, then there could have been very few casualties in Tower Two considering there was only 17 minutes but it would have been nice if everyone in that building made it out for sure, it would have been nice if a lot of lives were saved as well and if FDNY and Military Helicopters began evacuating people stuck in Tower 1 above the impact zone and trying to save whoever they could and take them to another part of the city onto a roof of another building with Emergency Services and Red Cross waiting, the roof of Tower 1 couldn’t have been opened without a certain key card as we all know but the Fd and Esu have all the necessary equipment to breach it down….

saw this movie for the first time a few years ago, was reminded of it this past 9/11. still in elementary school when it happened as I got home off the bus and turned on the tv expecting to watch cartoons. As a kid still couldn't understand it fully but as an adult I just can't imagine how it was to be there. You feel for the passengers on the plane that could do nothing, the people in the building that died instantly from the crash and even the people who survived but had no chance of escape who either burned or jumped, and even innocent people on the ground when the building collapsed and destroyed nearby buildings and people on the streets. I still take planes an still have been fortunate. I just can't imagine a person or a group who would do this and so screw those terrorists. Thank the police officers, firefighters, and rescuers who gave their lives to help that day and even the ones who survived to continue to help. RIP to all the victims

I remember this! I’m from Scotland and I remember my brother calling us up shouting down the phone at my mother “A plane has just hit the world trade centre in New York! Turn it to CNN Now!” We changed the channel just in time to see the second tower being hit! It was terrifying. I’ll never forget it as long as I live!
I'm from Scotland too and I will never forget this day. I was 9 when this happened and I remember my mum, granda, and our neighbour huddled around the tv. My mum told me to go back outside and play but I just took a few steps back and watched too. I watched the second plane hit the tower live. It was insane to watch and even more insane to think of being there live when it happened.

the reason why they didn't show it was because the officers (the main characters pena and cage , their characters are actually real if u didnt know , the real jimeno and john will be at the end at the movie at the barbecue) they never saw the plane hit the tower , they only saw a shadow ( i think so atleast lmao, otherwise its just for tension)
In many major cities, downtown was evacuated. You could look out the office window and see the traffic streaming out until the streets looked like a ghost town. (Cleveland). Only one airplane flew over that day.

I'm glad your aunt ended up okay. One of my friend's husbands used to work in the south tower, and I was told that at first, he and his coworkers were told by their boss to stay and they would evacuate together, but my friend's husband had a gut feeling that something was going to happen to his tower, so he evacuated on his own and made it out minutes before the second plane hit.
