I met her in DEsMoines, Iowa, & she was so lovely visiting with us after being on stage. She couldn’t have been any nicer ~. My heart hurt when I learned of her passing. But someone had to look after Left Brain in heaven~
There will, almost guaranteed, never be another one like Jeanne! She has made millions laugh, forget their troubles, see the humor in all sorts of situations. God bless Jeanne & Left Brain. You have made our hearts merry and our troubles much lighter and possibly forgotten, at least for a little while.
Loved hearing the uncut version of this story! I both laughed and cried. The world lost a wonderful amazing woman who dedicated her life to making people laugh and taught us to look for the humor in less than humorous moments. She’s on my list to meet in heaven when I get there. 🙏 🕊

yes i found this lady about a three months or so by accident, so very glad i did what a wonderful fantastic person she was, never failed to brighten my lonely nights and lift my moods, as i suffered illness at the time, god bless you Jeanne Robertson you truly were a one off just pure class xxx Thank you,

I came to this country 30 years ago as a late teen to get my masters in the south, clueless about the history, clean slate, and welcome in both communities,black and white alike. It was one of the best years of my life. I found this show by accident and am I am enjoying every minute of her humor.

Found her about a year before her death. So wanted to meet her but love these recordings
Never heard of this lady until now. I gather from the comments she's no longer with us, but I will say this, "this rafting story is one of the funniest story's I've ever heard". I take it to be true since some of the people on it were right there in the audience. Fantastic story teller and totally hilarious without one bad word in it. Wish I'd had the pleasure of knowing her while she still was performing. RIP ma'am, you've made generations laugh
Be sure to look up her other talks. The one about the red Porsche and the one where Left Brain goes shopping for the things on the list she gave him are two of my favorites. I found her by accident a few years before she died and am so grateful I did. Now I am old too, and watching her is a great stress reliever.
Everything she talks about is true. She worked at finding humor in real life.

OMG, I couldn't sleep and this came up in my recommended videos so I clicked on and I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Jeanne Robertson is pure comedy gold. I wish I would have known about her when she was still with us, may she rest in peace.

Jeanne popped up in my feed a few months ago. I watched a few. I have never laughed so hard. Then I found out she passed last year. I was so sad. I have since watched a lot of her videos. She was an amazing woman and funny.......bless her and left brain
I was so Blessed to see Her In person twice. She had me laughing so hard, I couldn’t see from the Tears running down my face. For two days after my ribs were sore. God Bless her Soul. Maybe she will do a few shows in Heaven.

I have watched this at least a dozen times and most of them while in bed with a brain bleed, but this is THE FUNNIEST story I have EVER heard and it makes me laugh ( not so hard as before cos no strain on my brain allowed) it truly cracks me up... All Jeannie's stories are hilarious to the max, but this has me laughing when I want to cry instead. Thank you SO much for posting this. She's the funniest lady I EVER heard, ever! And America has some very clean comedian folks, not so much here in the UK sadly but I am glad I got to hear of her when I lived stateside, and through RUclips being her with me back to the UK.

I watched this lady's RUclips channel unfortunately a few days after she had passed, and oh how i wish she had been spared for a while longer. She is the first "speaker" that i have heard that was so funny in the things that she said and got up to, you couldn't help but laugh. Jeanne could sure put the majority of the world to shame by her fresh and life humour that was so clean and refreshing that my Nana if she was still alive could have listened to her all day. Her warm and natural way that she had is truly a big miss for us on this earth and her son and grandsons. Thank you Jeanne for bringing humour just when we need it most. RIP Jeanne with Left Brain

i do miss this woman whom i never met or saw in person. 'harriet' is one of the funniest comedians i have ever witnessed in my life. i'm sitting here busting a gut while tears of laughter run down my face. her humor has provided so much tension relief since i first saw her. i am so glad to have found her and i'll continue to enjoy her talks.

I absolutely love this woman and the stories she told. Today I really understood that it's not just all of her amazing things to talk about that makes it funny, so much of the humor is in the delivery. And obviously the gorgeous accent. She could have people rolling on the floor whatever she talked about. I'm so glad to find these treasures on RUclips. She can make me laugh even on my most difficult days.
