I'm starting to wonder whether Roger was possibly gay. He married late, never had kids, always seemed to be insecure with Gene on a personal level. Idk.
Oh God...who can stand David Letterman? I mean...really? But I just love the fact that both Siskel and Ebert start by interacting with Letterman, and trading insults with each other, only to become completely absorbed in each others conversation and opinions mid way through.
I used to record their shows on a VCR timer. It's always hit and miss.
Love Siskel & Ebert
MISS SISKEL & EBERT
Yep part of my childhood
Love the three of them. Love when Dave just sits and watch the other two talk.
I use to watch their show when I was like 13 all the time.
David Lynch's Batman? Haha what does it have Alfred with an oxygen mask saying, "Mmm daddy like" lol
They are very funny! The crowd is great too!
this is a good point - just because you work together doesn't mean you have to be buddies
The insults are extremely hilarious!
Gene: “When I die, they’re not gonna care.” Oscar host Whoopi Goldberg gave him a thumbs up during the ceremony. 👍
Sometime in mid-September 1989.
Ah yes. David Lynch’s “Batman”.
Them great blockbusters: David Lynch's Batman and Honey I Ate the Kids.
I think they really "reconciled", became good friends
They'll make a sequal to Batman? No way in hell...
Hilarious.
