They don't. They can get infinite candies if it's from the vending machine (or a valuable item like hp up on this run) but otherwise they can only afford so many if they find them at a mart
They are playing the same randomized game, so if one of them finds an item somewhere, they can tell the other exactly where to find it. And conversely, if one finds no good items in an area, they can tell the other to not go there.
@@iPrint3Dyeah the games aren't tied together at all. Shen or Chris will make a randomized seed and then they share it with the other so they're in the exact same game in regard to where all the items are at
