Truthfully, these phones are so close. Maybe the S8 is slightly better in low light. The 8 Plus is better in well lit scenes. I mean these two phones are both fantastic. Right next to each other it’s hard to tell the difference.

ZONEofTECH The Galaxy s8+ is better 'overall' camera than the iphone 8 eventhough the iphone had some better shots. You shouldn't forget that the Galaxy s8 has an advanced manual mode which can help in getting a more preferable photo sometimes. That makes the galaxy s8+ a winner for its camera.
Both are indeed excellent and only fanboys say “X is TRASH, while Y is awesome.” This said, I usually will opt for the realistic colour of the iPhone. If I want enhancements, or “vibrancy,” I will add it myself.
Actually I think iPhone's photos are too warm so if REALLY want realistic photos you should post process them. But most people prefer vibrant colors and warm tones anyway so why bother )))

Definitely, if you shoot photos NOT in low lights a lot, go with the iPhone, if you do, pick an S8. I think most of the time, iPhones do the job better than S8s do, except some low light and front-facing camera. Quite shocking that iPhone did a good job than before

Macro = s8+ Overall under bright light, i still prefer iPhone 8+ especially the HDR, and less postprocessing work. Almost equal, more to personal preference. But under low light, its no contest here, samsung s8+ wins. I like the flash on the iphone 8+ though.

I think that the aesthetic of the s8 is gorgeous, I just can't stand the way it takes pictures. The face smoothing looks too artificial for me and I've never liked the temp as well as the pixels on Androids. They are like blocks while for the iPhone its like circles so even a low quality picture looks really nice. Idk.
you have to take into account that maybe there could have been cloud more cover in the sky on some of the shots. I notice that it was overcast and then it became clear and then over cast again so it was not a perfect day for shooting however a studio with lighting would have been better in my opinion.

Excellent video, I was really looking for this detailed camera shootout. Personally I don’t think that the S8 is much better in lowlight. I mean, the pics you put next to each other were actually really similar. There were a few cases in which I preferred the shots taken by the S8 and cases in which I liked the iPhone 8’s shots best. The only two things that were missing are pics taken in extreme low light with led flash applied on human faces in order to be able to judge the skin tone and some bokeh shots. But overall a GREAT video, man! 👏

Iphone has limited pre picture customization but samsung gives you a dope camera that you can change to fit your needs. Androids have always included a learning curve. If you are dumb and dont know how to change camera settings for your situation apple is always going to seem better they are user friendly on purpose.
The only reason tiphone seems so much better is because apple takes the pre photo editing out of your hands almost entirely. If he did pre photo settings its clear which would win. The pixel is better anyway.

Dmitry While not 100% of the time, I find mostly the picture colours and light resembles true to life with my iPhone. That’s my preference.

Do they both take RAW? I found the RAW noise is actually has nicer grain, although noise of unprocessed RAW can be shocking.

S8 is still the king 👑 in low light shots and sharper image even in low light.
I highly prefer 1080p60 instead of 4k30 because it's way smoother and because of that it looks sharper to my eyes, 30fps looks so slow when filming
i think its wront to make sharpness comparison in bokeh areas when photos taken with f1.7 camera.. try to compare center of the photos for accuracy
