  • I got a call from a family that was in need of a lawn makeover. They said they were struggling with making ends meet, and in between growing a new business and raising kids, there seemed to never be any time for lawn care around the property. I told them that I would come out and help them by providing them with a free lawn makeover. They were truly surprised to hear that and blessed that anyone would take time out of their day and help them out.
This is what I do and what I have a passion for doing, helping those that are in serious need of lawn care services. I enjoy every minute of it and am truly blessed to be able to be a benefit to the community. If you have the chance to help someone out, do it. God will bless you twofold. Have a great day my friend!

I’m sorry for having to say this but if you on hard times sell some of the toys (both adult and child)and yes move and tidy up before accepting a free lawn care.

I call bs on this one. These people obviously have the means to at least pick up and organize that back yard so Fil can help THEM. They obviously have several children. That is a huge blessing in and of itself. Some may be of age to help mom and or dad out with picking up & organizing the back yard. That would help along with teaching them responsibility.

Despite it made a good video, I still got the feeling that the reason for these people to ask for help is different than indicated. Just as read other comments. 3 cars, bicycles, UTVs and so on carelessly in the yard, just like other stuff. Not even cleaned up knowing you were coming. Makes me think their lifestyle and mindset is the problem. These people indeed need help, cleaning up the garden is only a symptom control.

Methinks they need to put their kids to work taking care of the backyard, sell some of the stuff if they are pinched for money. You were good to do this for them.

It looks to me they can afford everything but lawn care!

The more I watched this the madder I got! They have taken advantage of your good nature. Based on what I saw you move and pick up, I can see that they just didn't care. It takes no money to pick up and keep your home tidy. Come on people keep the place clean before asking for help. Show that you deserve the help.

For a family that can barely get by....hmmmm. I think that they took advantage of the situation. They didn't even prepare and pick up the yard to make the job easier. They can sell half that stuff in the yard to help get by or ease their financial situation. Good job on the makeover but it seems that this one was fishy

Fill, awesome job as always!! I am concerned about the lack of responsibility on the homeowners. I obviously do not know their situation, but if I knew someone was coming to bless me, I would do my best to get the yard cleared! God bless you Fill!!

They need to move their cars and junk around before you do any lawn work…that is ridiculous.

Fill, you're a better man than I...soon as I saw the Beamer, two ATVs and the Honda mower, I'd be out. They made no effort to clean up.

I know what it's like to have an overwhelming situation simply overtake you, but they could've moved the vehicles, toys, and trailer out of the yard and picked up things since you were blessing them so graciously. I can only imagine what the inside of the house looks like. 😳

You would think if they were getting a free service they would have enough initiative to move their junk out of the way for you.

Great job Fill. I just don’t understand why the owners didn’t clear up for you. If that was my yard I’d be really embarrassed to have this on RUclips. Good job we’re not all like that. Hats off to you. You deserve a medal. Take care 👏❤️🇬🇧

Quite frankly, if this family reached out to you for help, the least they could have done was gone out and tidied up a little bit (like the torn fabric). It could take about 15 minutes of their time to do the small things - like pack the bikes into a corner, move things out the way. But great job as usual!

Struggling to make ends meet is one thing. And I've been there. It doesn't cost a dime to keep things in order. Thank you for what you do.

This was a very strange video for me. Usually I love transformations, but I felt so many conflicting emotions going on, both in me and in this household. You did beautiful work and thank you for sharing what you deal with.

Based on the current condition of this property, I would hazard a guess that in 2-3 months, the overgrown grass/weeds will be back & none of the “collectibles “ will have been removed. Old habits die hard!

I recently found your channel and love watching you transform a yard and helping people. I’ve got to admit, I was angry the whole time I watched this. I’d be embarrassed to let someone come over to help me and leave all that for you to contend with. To me, they seem like the type of people who’d call you out for moving something or mistakenly trimming a flower. This yard is going to be like this again in a couple of months. I hope they appreciated it. I’ve tried helping people and it’s always those who don’t (refuse to) help themselves and just expect it. I guess I don’t know the whole story and shouldn’t assume. By the comments, I’d say many of us are thinking the same thing.

I am 70 and have mowed grass since I was 10. Never have I ever seen so much trash in the yard to expect people to mow around and pick up for their lazy kids. I have picked up a zillion pine cones, but I would have turned around and left this mess until they appreciated your hard work enough to at least pick up the yard. Feel so much pride in you. Georgia
