Public Engagement of Universal Studios Theme Park UK at Bedford

- Universal studios are looking to set up their first European theme park right here in the heart of the U.K. The old brick works site in Stewartby Bedford is the chosen site and Stewartby is quicker for me in Wellingborough to get to, than it is to get to Northampton. I'm very excited about the proposal along with many other. I head over to Bedford College for the public engagement to film and relay onto you legends. Universal Studios not only wants to hear from Bedfordians but also from us neighbouring towns. The inital news reports kept mentioning the brickworks and so did the reps in the video, but when I checked the area the theme park may be built on it is arable fields and not the area that looks like a former industrial expanse to the south.

Yes most definitely. It's development and as the land around changes I'll be wanting to capture moments through time as it changes. The next video on this will probably be in June when they announce whether the plans are a go ahead or not.
What are you're thoughts Purple? I'm kind of on the fence but could be good economy wise. Could be bad in other ways.
I'm all for it now. I was a little worried about the history of the site but the Universal Studios bosses assure me that the brick works theme will be incorporated into the park. A big win for me is the railway networks will be upgrading including my favourite railway. The Marston Vale

I'm not pleased about this. Yes, it's a huge boost to the economy, but the cost of living crisis means that they probably won't get as many people as they'd hope to attend, because they won't be able to afford to get in. I would've made it part housing estate, and also a brickworks museum to celebrate its history
The cost of living isn't affecting everyone. I for one would definitely be buying an annual pass, if will save me a lot of money by not going Orlando every couple of years.
