My bother is color blind and can’t tell the difference in purples/blues and reds/greens and just generally muted colors. They recently came out with glasses to correct color vision. The look on his face when he put them on for the first time and saw all the colorful crap we bought him that day was amazing. Lol. He was 35 at the time and saw the world in real color for the first time ❤

Hi Karrie, I've never seen anyone clean their sofa like that. Definitely trying it. I had my first Thanksgiving last night. One down another one Thursday. The time change sucks. I wish it was left as it was. Could be worse, areas in Alaska are facing like 65 days of darkness. That would drive me nuts. Lol. Karrie, sponsorships are a paycheck for you and your family. 😊 I usually put some scent beads in a spray bottle with warm water… shake it up until dissolved and spray my couch, curtains, rugs… my bedding and even my shower curtain. Smell lasts a long time!

I have the same eye problem. I however do not buy prescription glasses from the Dr.’s office. There is so many different web sites and other places that are way cheaper to buy eye glasses. Warby Parker is the best place to get your eyewear. Frames and lenses $95 plus for every pair you buy they donate a pair of glasses. They will send you 5 frames at a time to try on at home or you can go to one of their stores. Great for people in rural areas.

Don’t feel bad about the eye chatter, your eyes are so important! You only get one pair, although I had cataract surgery years ago and it’s like someone cleaned the glass! No more contacts or glasses for me (except readers) and I have new eyeballs! It’s amazing what they can do! I’ve missed your cleaning channel. Tfs btw how do you get your sinks so shiny?
So this sink is just so nice to be honest it shinesgood even when I don't try. But I love dawn I think it helps too

Same problem as you..can't see far away without them. I actually have appt tomorrow. I'm glad its helped you.
Thanks for all your videos, love the cleaning videos. Glad you got glasses, I’ve wore them since I was in the 5th grade, I’m 66 now. My eyes are really bad. I put them one when I get out bed and the last thing I take off when I go bed. Thank God for glasses.

Omg…I can’t live without my glasses, I need them for distance also. All of my glasses including all of my sunglasses are prescription. I get all of mine within an hour, from Eye Glass World.

My husband and I had a microfiber couch which our kids just spilled everything on and at that time I had no idea how to clean it. Our cats scratched it and it just became unbearable. We thru it out over 10 years ago now. Never thought about downy on it. Now we have a spot bot which would clean it quite nice.

My grandson couldn't believe his classroom had the alphabet etc on the walls. And he seen the doors and windows of people's houses while driving past. It mad us sad we didn't pick up on this. Anyways ZENNI online are the best , cheapest it's a must for budget friendly and instyle.
I can't do without my glasses , when I first got them at 17 I could do without them on occasion. Now I'm in my 50s I've switched to varifocals and I also have prescription sunglasses which I recommend because the sun can damage your eyes.

I am stressed about thanksgiving as we just moved to our new house and we don’t have a fridge yet. I keep trying to get my 19 year old son to go pick up a used one on ur new city and close by but since we just moved here without anything, we are trying to get all we need to make it a home.
Order take out food make it easy lots of restaurants offer that.
Don't be stressed. Just remember that being together is all that matters. !! Praying you get a fridge soon though 🙏

For pet odor- Odoban spray! Told my daughter about it( I saw it on a golden doodle site I belong to) my daughter has 4 dogs that get on furniture and she has carpets in bedrooms, she loved it! My dogs don’t get on my furniture 🤣

I felt the same way when getting my glasses! 😂 I can't see far away either and I have a stigmatism(can't spell that lol) in my right eye. I was so glad when google maps came out because i couldn't see the dang signs 😆
So glad you got your vision checked. I'm losing my vision so I don't take a day with sight forgranted.
How have you never got them checked? Here they check the kids at school every couple years even if they don't get checked otherwise. Glad you did though. Just a thought if you havent seen it yet, check out zenni optical online. Lenses and frames start at 6.99, so you can pretty inexpensively get sunglasses or multiple pairs of glasses. Eye doctors are legally required to give you your paper prescription if asked, and then you just need to know your PD or pupillary distance.... our eye doctors office give us that on the script without issue, just have to ask. :)
I don’t like it getting dark as early either. I’ve started letting my daughter come home and play until dark and then do her homework so she has some time outside. Im from Oklahoma and it gets dark at 5.

I haven't gone to get my eyes checked probably in 3 years and I need to. I bring my old frames every time I go and it cost me $700 because I don't have vision insurance. I can't even remember where I go but I don't think I'm going back.
Definitely try to find somewhere cheaper. My mom went recently ND spent 450 and her prescription was wrong 😭😭 I told her I'm going to keep it simple and just go to Walmart and man I'm so happy I did. I'll continue to go back as long as that doc is there.

Your house sparkles when all you've done is straighten up and vacuum. I can almost smell the freshness. Does that baking soda/Downy sprinkles mask the pet odors. My large sofa could use something to freshen it. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
We spent all day taking my two oldest kids down to my in-laws and came back home ( they live 4 hours away so we spent 8 hours driving today and spent a couple of hours seeing them). Me , my husband, and two younger kids will be going back down there on Thursday and coming back Sunday.

I recently unsubscribed from Lauren Nicolson’s channel bc literally EVERY video was sponsored. If I want to watch commercials, I can just turn on the TV which I don’t like bc everything is so woke so I watch YT instead if I watch anything. Now that I know u have several sponsored videos coming up, I def won’t unsubscribe bc that’s something I really value in u is ur honesty, integrity, and lack of sponsorships. Ty for being u! ❤
Of course ! To be honest I think we will start seeing more sponsorships as the years continue due to adsense going down. I'm not sure about other channels but I noticed a significant drop at the beginning of the year. It don't make any since though because my views are the same etc. But all I can Do is keep working hard . I appreciate everyone being supportive ❤️ please remember you can always skip mine are usually 1-2 mins long ❤️
@@cleaningwithkarrie2296 U do work hard, Karrie, and I’m happy to support that in u bc that’s admirable! When a video is 20-30 min long, and I can skip the 1-2 min sponsorship portion, that’s not a big deal to do. However, when a video is 5 min (for example), and has 2 min of sponsored content, then there’s not a lot of content left to watch which is aggravating. I’m not saying ur doing this, but it’s something I’ve seen being done on some other channels recently. Also, when I see a channel swear by a cereal, vacuum, or certain brand of sheets that they LOVE them, and then I nvr see the RUclipsr use the product again, that comes across as pretty disingenuous. Again, I’m not saying ur doing this, just sharing my viewpoint like I would to one of my friends. I think ur pretty darn great and look fwd to all of ur videos so pls don’t take me sharing my opinion as criticism. 💕

Love your home. Also, you could have got one more meal out of the chicken. You boil the carcass I put it in crock pot over night in water add veggies if you want and seasoning, Like onion, garlic, celery. Then put in strainer, and cool. Keep the broth, skim off any fat on top, etc. Pick all the meat left on the bone. Now make chicken and dumplings or chicken soup or use in a pot pie (can add cut up chicken meat if not enough). I usually put it in crock pot then cool and do what I have to do the next morning. Put in frig. Peace!
