Thanks Karrie for always keeping things real. I literally spent 10 hours cleaning yesterday trying to make everything perfect for Thanksgiving get togethers. I was really feeling down on myself for letting my house get so messy and frustrated that it took so long to clean. You always say the right thing to help keep life in perspective. I literally get so tired of doing laundry and dishes. I’ve threatened to make my family wear the same outfit for a week (of course that won’t actually happen).
I honestly love doing dishes and laundry… dishes bc it’s quick progress and laundry bc while it’s running you can do other things and while you’re folding you have an excuse to sit and watch tv! My hated chore is picking up the living room and the toys, because everyone leave their stuff everywhere! Even if I picked it up 10 minutes ago, it’s messy bc someone has walked through and left something out again! Ugh!
That vacuum looks amazing!! I have to tell you, the song what my mama said made me cry! My hubby has an autoimmune disease. It’s now affecting his pulmonary function. There isn’t too much more the dr can do. We went to Mayo Clinic in May. He is still working. He is VP if his company or he wouldn’t be working at all. It just made me think back over the 40 years we’ve known each other. I’m sorry. I’m just so emotional lately. It’s happy thoughts and sad at the same time. I always love your videos. I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁❤
When I was young, married and my two kiddos were growing up, I hated doing the dishes and laundry with a passion! Always struggling to catch up. All the time. Now I'm retired, live alone ~ just me and my little boy parakeet lol. I have a small (but very cute! Lol) apartment with a dishwasher, which I never use. I don't mind dishes and laundry anymore, but what I hate is scrubbing the tile around the bathtub! Also, cleaning the oven! Those jobs are the worst! And, I can't use any toxic cleaners around my bird, so it makes it tricky. Oh well, sorry this is so long. Have a great Thanksgiving! 😁❤️

My least favorite chore is taking out the garbage. I absolutely love doing laundry, and don’t mind the dishes. No idea why those don’t bother me. And I hate scrubbing the shower. We haven’t had a chance to re-do the bathroom yet, and the shower has a textured surround which makes it such a pain 😅 thanks for the motivation!
Cooking dinner and doing dishes, I’m 69 and I have been cooking regular weekday meals since I was 19!!!! And never have had a dishwasher ☹️no room at this point, don’t want to give up cupboard space and I’d probably wash them first anyway😂 love your videos❤😊
Great job Karrie! Don’t you wish you could get it done as fast as you do in the video? It’s amazing to me how much dirt animals bring in. My cats come and go as they want and my floors are constantly dirty. I am always amazed at how much comes from my floors. Laundry doesn’t bother me to much. I takes mine out of the dryer and hang it on the door as I take it out folding the pants and shorts as I do then I just fold the tops down the middle and once it’s all out of the dryer and hang it all up. For towels and sheets and underclothes and wash cloths I fold them and lay them on top of the washer and dryer then when I get it all out of the dryer I again take it and put it up. I have always done that even when I had three kids growing up. The chore I hate most is cleaning the bathrooms. And I also hate stripping my beds and doing that and putting sheets back on and all the pillows. I really enjoyed this one. Have a great week.
I do this through my whole house! I keep a set number of hangers and if I don’t have enough hangers anymore then I have to get rid of something. Same goes for hubby and the kids

I have black faucets in my kitchen and bathrooms!! You're right, they show every spot and toothpaste, etc. It's especially bad cause we have hard water here in Ocala. I use dawn Powerwash and it works great! 💖

I hate cleaning my stove ugh I have a gas stove and I love to cook but I never clean it as often as I should. Wish a lil fairy would come and clean it for me lol if only 😂

I've been trying the 30 minute cleaning you suggested. It's really surprising what you can accomplish in that 30 minutes. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
So I sprinkle a lot of baking soda then add the downy sprinkles on top. I then take a dry microfiber cloth and rub it into the sofa . Let that sit for a hour or more and the vacuum up ! Couch will smell amazing!
My youngest son he's 29yrs and he really bugs me, he will come in and pile up all his stuff on the dining table. And if you go to get a cup out of the cupboards there's none you will find them in his bedroom.
That’s exactly why I’m not putting in black faucets. Not following that trend! I live in a hard water area. The faucets would be gross the second we use them.

The kitchen is probably my least favourite repetitive chore. And my cat seems to use the most dishes in a day. I kid you not. Lol
