    Just checked something Allen if you power the setup and you hear a relay click and standby light flashes once that means the main board is good .
    now check power rails for the 24 volts and the 12 volt rail then unplug both tecon cables and check voltage rails again if both rails ok then it’s the main panel fault mate

    OMG...
    I work in a company who is nuts about Static damage and Wrist bands and Mats are always used and checked weekly....for good reason too.
    Wouldn't want to have an Airplane fall out of the Sky due to a partially killed PCB from Static damage.
    The guy sending you these boards obviously knows nothing about ESD precautions.
    The Bubble wrap could have done untold damage to all the boards.
    You need to get rid of that carpet on your test bench too and only have a piece just to protect the screen....the surrounding area should not be carpeted.....Boards placed on these areas could suffer too.

This went from that into the realm of wobbling random plugs and guessing which board may have failed. You are better than that and I think you can get this working of you start over. Best of luck If you can't fix it, send it to me and I will get the thing up and running.

    Yes, remember the standby light lit means it's in standby and no standby light means it's on but with no signal, the screen wouldn't light unless there is a signal but you did check with the remote for a menu with the second board and that shound have showed something. I won a 65" Samsung OLED S90C from a local grocery store drawing. The picture is quite stunning, but I still tend to favor my 54" Panasonic plasma TC-P54V10 Viera (15 years old) for many aspects.
    I would assume you had already checked the voltages coming from the power supply in part one, but a recheck might reveal the problem. There might be one missing or low. Also, many times a solution will come to me in the middle of the night when I'm half way asleep.

  • @Animal_lives_matter
    @Animal_lives_matter Месяц назад

    I guess one more thing to try is the power board? I'm guessing you tested that already and would be a waste of time and money. It's probably the panel, or a longshot, could it be a cable/connector fault? I've wondered if cables can degrade over time with heat. I've had a lot of trouble with USB cables and connectors recently that got me thinking.
    I've got an old Samsung plasma that I'm trying to fix. It's great for retro games cause of the motion clarity on those side scrolling games. I don't know anything about TV repair so I'm just replacing the boards one at a time with used ones off AliExpress. Have replaced all X and Y boards to no avail. The fault is red pixels firing on dark background when they shouldn't be. Increasing the "Vscan" pot on the Y board improves the issue by about 50%, so I thought it's got to be Y board related, but no. Next I'll try replacing the T-CON, then finally the power board. If that doesn't work then it's probably the panel is end of life. I wouldn't want to replace the main logic board as that probably contains the factory colour calibration. I do have a colourimeter and some HCFR software to calibrate it but I don't know if that's the same as factory calibration.

    My mother bought a LG oled c1 55" and has not had a single problem. Incredibly good picture quality. My mother uses the screen a lot.
    But the sound quality is the absolute worst I have ever heard from a TV! It sounds a bit like the speaker is sitting inside a bucket or plastic pipe even though it doesn't.
    The OLED still has problems with uneven wear or burn-in. This LG c1 dims the brightness automatically to extend its lifespan, which you can't completely turn off except in the service menu.
