Yesterday, I am looking for my 2nd Seiko Solar, but another store customer introduced this SPB455, I fell in love righ away with this semi-chameleon color, specs and price is reasonable ----- finally purchased it. It fits to my 6.5 inch wrist. This is my 12th Seiko collection (Kinetic, Automatic, Solar and Perpetual).
I watched this wearing my SPB147 on the OEM Seiko bracelet. It has actually been my favorite, and one of my most worn timepieces for the 3.5 years I've had it. So I can't help but notice how strikingly similar the new SPB455 is to mine. And idk how much of an "upgrade" it would be for me at the moment, but I'm definitely intrigued.
I love this watch but we are getting royally screwed for the retail price in the UK. It’s 15 - 22% more expensive then in the US and the difference between the non limited models is considerably more
I've owned the SPB147 for over 3.5 years and it really does look way better in person than the photos suggest. Idk why but it really is difficult for all the videos to catch the true essence of it in the light.
I think its a warranty issue, so people dont send in constantly if their watch is off. Also in 30 degrees temperature, or 115 degrees. The time can potentially fluctuate, but in normal temps its going to be exactly what you regulate it to! So easy to regulate, and is a workhorse movement. Even at bad temperatures, its going to keep proper time, as a diving watch, you must have an accurate watch in order to be ISO diving certified. Watchs must be regulated so often
Everyone who complains about the Seiko accuracy, has never owned and worn a lot of Seikos. Out of about 25 Seikos I've owned, not including vintage or the 6R movement, they've all been

It’s available in the whole world as a special edition, not only US… I like that Watch!
MVMT Revolver because it was a gift and I can’t afford a new watch at the moment. Been salivating over the SPB455 for a couple weeks now 🤤
Hoping there will a comparison with SPB239 and 147. Thanks.

The black looks the best. Makes the date window disappear. Wearing my G-Shock square - needed to charge it so I took it out in the sun 😅
I agree
Please show us the BEZEL diameter before crystal diameter both extremely useful

Is the color of the dial any different from the spb 239, if so, how?
The different? a more golden & brownish dial and bezel, anodised aluminium texture on the bezel, case size, movement & 300m
So it looks more like the spb147? To me from videos I have seen it doesn’t look any diffferent from spb239.
@@fernandoguerrero7327 same dial as 239 but gilt indices and handset which makes it slightly different
Alguien podria decirme cuanto costaria en dolares este modelo ?? No se ingles..muchas gracias y saludos desde uruguay.

$1,400.00
I like the handset on the 147, its fully polished. I wonder what that would look like on this model compared to half brushed half polished...
The Lumen is blue or Green?
Tell us you didn't watch the video, without telling us you didn't watch the video 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

The spb147 is better alternative and you can buy it for less than a grand
It's an alternative. But still not the same. These series are more neat, smaller and stunning.

$1400 for a watch with an accuracy of -15 to +30?!! No thanks.
