The SPB455 Seiko Prospex 100th Anniversary 1965 Heritage Diver's Special Edition commemorates Seiko's century-long legacy of innovation. Its charcoal-gray dial and gold accents pay homage to the historic milestone of Seiko's first wristwatch in 1924. Embodying Japanese craftsmanship, the watch comes with an additional strap made from recycled plastic bottles using the traditional Seichu braiding technique, ensuring strength, durability, and comfort.
Powered by Seiko's caliber 6R55 automatic movement with manual winding, the watch offers precise timekeeping with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The stainless steel case, measuring 13.0mm thick and 40.0mm in diameter, boasts a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for clarity. LumiBrite enhances visibility in low-light conditions on hands, indices, and the bezel. The three-fold clasp with a secure lock and push-button release ensures a comfortable and secure fit, complemented by a screw-down crown and case back for added durability.

I like the handset on the 147, its fully polished. I wonder what that would look like on this model compared to half brushed half polished...

The black looks the best. Makes the date window disappear. Wearing my G-Shock square - needed to charge it so I took it out in the sun 😅

The different? a more golden & brownish dial and bezel, anodised aluminium texture on the bezel, case size, movement & 300m
