Circular saw on a grinder? Also, test the blades spinning in the same plane. Opposite directions. And make them touch slowly. Don't have them at an angle like now.
I really appreciate what you say about the accumulation of grinding dust. It doesn't look dramatic in the moment like this example but it adds up fast. You're usually breathing in a lot more than you realize. Protect yourself. It's worth dealing with the discomfort/heat/fogging/whatever.
All dust is eventually like smoking, keep breathing it long enough for high enough concentration and you will develop lung cancer. Whether we live long enough to experience it is of course another question but research is quite clear that the variance in is quite big in how sensitive some people are for lung cancer. Some people are quite resistant and won't develop lung cancer even when smoking (smoke is also mostly dust) for 120 years, but other people can be so sensitive that daily vacuuming for 20 years is already a risk factor. The issue is, that you won't know beforehand how sensitive your lungs are.
@@avlehtine There's angular velocity and mass on the outer edge and it's quite substantial inertia at 10k+ rotations per minute. Grinder disks usually snap when working because it comes to a sudden stop, when the material you are cuttin pinches the blade. Most grinder discs can bend quite a bit, it prematurely uses up the disk but usually doesn't break it.
To answer to myself, most cutting DISCS break when they get pinched by the material you're cutting. It's the reason why circular saws have a blade to separate the material, to prevent kickback. For angle grinders similar pinching destroys the disk or stalls the grinder
I had a cut-off wheel explode on a disc grinder once, took me almost a year to get full functionality back in my thumb because a wheel shard hit it so hard I felt no pain, only pressure. That's when you know shit is bad, when a red waterfall pours from your hand but you feel nothing. I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

When watching those 2 diamond blades going at it, i couldn't help but instinctively cover my eyes with my hands, expecting blade fragments to to be flying off.
