If your own pride as a game developer prevents you from listening to the very people who play your game for hours on end and know it best, why even bother having a test server system in the first place? Is it just there to create hype by letting dataminers have something to do?
@Hitman Even as someone playing predominantly mages, I wish Zhonya was removed. The active is ridiculously powerful, even if only situationally, and makes it so that assassins have to have the damage to blow you up before you can finish your crowd control ability animations to have any chance of killing you. So you either tilt the enemy assassin into oblivion with Zhonya, or you have to always avoid being on the same screen as them. In either case, there isn't really any interaction. There's no outplaying each other. One just wins by default. Remove the damn thing and allow each class to actually be actually balanced.
Euphraxia ツ you don't know how many times that's happened. She does an absurd amount of damage even without hitting her Q or E. She just uses a summoner or picks one up from the ground, and she gets insane movement speed, the weird W passive, and the enhanced auto, added on to whatever damage her summoner spell or item active did, and it's all point and click. But he is dumb as bricks sometimes too, cause I remember when he said that they should remove like 40% of the champions just because they don't "do" anything, or don't actually wins games but just gets so fed they kill everything brainlessly. He is a good source of information if you just know not to trust anything without using your brain. That said, he is way too focused on ignoring Aatrox's strong points. I understand aatrox isn't strong, and his winrate is never above 50% anywhere. But he acts like he doesn't regularly 1 v 3 and heal 800 in a single Q. Like... Aatrox might be statistically weak, but he really overplays by how much and that becomes a bit annoying.

Actually Sylas has one of the best waveclears in the entire game thanks to his passive. In fact, people sometimes take E at level 1 just because it gives you too much waveclear for the early game, so this means that you have full lane control in some matchups. Soraka has more utility than Sylas, which is completely different.
@@zan7848 My point still stands. The potential waveclear that Sylas has is one of the highest in the entire game. I used to abuse that fact along with a special gameplan to always destroy champs like Kayle and Nasus in lane when Sylas was still viable. Before, you could use E on minions for clearing the wave because you had a shield. Now you don't, which is why it's risky. Even without E, just use Q + AA and watch the wave melt.

With such a high pick/ban rate, the champion shouldn't even be at 40%, because 45% winrate means that more than 50% of the players can have no clue about the character and are still able to win a decent ammount of games. Yummi: Still heals for 500 hp each time she presses "E" making it almost impossible to kill a target that is already pretty tanky/strong or has high sustain in fights. Also, super toxic gameplay. The only reason yuumo heals for me now is because the removed the charges system and raised the cd and made changes to the numbers both base and scaling and increased the mana cost so id say it means she cant perma spam it as much as she did on launch.
@@hurricanex3142 Yeah she can't perma spam heals like she used to but her E is on an 8 sec cooldown at max lv. Add 30-45% CDR and she can almost spam heals as she used to do. And some of those heals are even stronger than before. Put a Yummi on a tanky/sustainable champ that deals decent damage and there you go.
The aphelios thing is kinda a lie. Just don't feed him and bully him early game. The only reason hes able to delete teams is because your adc gives him a 5 kill lead at 6 minutes. While your top is trying to build armor not knowing that aphelios is about to delete him
@@omniken2494 You don't need much on Aphelios. I've seen it happen with my own eyes. I was playing with a friend of mine and he just won lane, was up in CS and had 2 more kills than the enemy botlane around 20 mins and a bit later he just got an almost insta-triplekill in a 1v4.

The fact that Shojin was even released shows how bad Riot's development teams are. The item was clearly incredibly unhealthy to game balance. Jax being the perfect example (immune to physical attacks for 4 out of every 6 seconds with spear while putting out ridiculous dps and endless gap closers)

Spear of Shojin was basically black cleaver with a passive that makes any champ with a non-channel ult busted. Literally any champ. I used to get it 2nd or 3rd item on tank malphite and it was still broken.

Why cant i just stick a j2z in my civic. game balance just doesn't work like that, not even on a small scale. if leauge were to litterally copy paste the dota dev team onto their game for balance that would actually end league. if you ever wonder why dota is different from leauge in any given way. remember 2 facts, leauge was birthed from the OG devs. but blew up under the current formula. session 3 proved what players wanted riot gave it to them. now leauge has constantly 3-4x the veiwerships of dota.
The moment I READ that galio was getting those insane AP ratios on pbe I already thought, this isn't going live, no way at all. And it did. Then their excuse is that Galio players don't tend to build a lot of AP items in their build so those ratios would allow him to scale a bit better with the little AP he gets. Yeah because it's not like he can change builds and get 80-90% max hp damage on his Q. Really well thought out. It's like they don't understand that players will abuse what is strong.

Actually Sylas has one of the best waveclears in the entire game thanks to his passive. In fact, people sometimes take E at level 1 just because it gives you too much waveclear for the early game, so this means that you have full lane control in some matchups.
Soraka has more utility than Sylas, which is completely different.

@@zan7848 My point still stands. The potential waveclear that Sylas has is one of the highest in the entire game. I used to abuse that fact along with a special gameplan to always destroy champs like Kayle and Nasus in lane when Sylas was still viable. Before, you could use E on minions for clearing the wave because you had a shield. Now you don't, which is why it's risky.
Even without E, just use Q + AA and watch the wave melt.

The player knows what he's doing? Win lane by default and spread the lead to the rest of the map. The player doesnt know what he's doing? He still has to fuck up massively to lose lane. With such a high pick/ban rate, the champion shouldn't even be at 40%, because 45% winrate means that more than 50% of the players can have no clue about the character and are still able to win a decent ammount of games. Wukong Full Lethality: Barely one shots any ADC and sometimes it doesn't at all. Dies right after his full combo.
Wukong Bruiserish: Deals 600 dmg with his full combo on an target without armor. MIGHT run away with just a little bit of health left.
Aphelios: Presses 2 buttons and instantly pentakills as an "AD Marksman".
Yummi: Still heals for 500 hp each time she presses "E" making it almost impossible to kill a target that is already pretty tanky/strong or has high sustain in fights. Also, super toxic gameplay.

The only reason yuumo heals for me now is because the removed the charges system and raised the cd and made changes to the numbers both base and scaling and increased the mana cost so id say it means she cant perma spam it as much as she did on launch.
@@hurricanex3142 Yeah she can't perma spam heals like she used to but her E is on an 8 sec cooldown at max lv. Add 30-45% CDR and she can almost spam heals as she used to do. And some of those heals are even stronger than before. Put a Yummi on a tanky/sustainable champ that deals decent damage and there you go.
The aphelios thing is kinda a lie. Just don't feed him and bully him early game. The only reason hes able to delete teams is because your adc gives him a 5 kill lead at 6 minutes. While your top is trying to build armor not knowing that aphelios is about to delete him
@@omniken2494 You don't need much on Aphelios. I've seen it happen with my own eyes. I was playing with a friend of mine and he just won lane, was up in CS and had 2 more kills than the enemy botlane around 20 mins and a bit later he just got an almost insta-triplekill in a 1v4.

The fact that Shojin was even released shows how bad Riot's development teams are. The item was clearly incredibly unhealthy to game balance. Jax being the perfect example (immune to physical attacks for 4 out of every 6 seconds with spear while putting out ridiculous dps and endless gap closers)

Spear of Shojin was basically black cleaver with a passive that makes any champ with a non-channel ult busted. Literally any champ. I used to get it 2nd or 3rd item on tank malphite and it was still broken.

Why cant i just stick a j2z in my civic. game balance just doesn't work like that, not even on a small scale. if leauge were to litterally copy paste the dota dev team onto their game for balance that would actually end league. if you ever wonder why dota is different from leauge in any given way. remember 2 facts, leauge was birthed from the OG devs. but blew up under the current formula. session 3 proved what players wanted riot gave it to them. now leauge has constantly 3-4x the veiwerships of dota.

The moment I READ that galio was getting those insane AP ratios on pbe I already thought, this isn't going live, no way at all. And it did.
Then their excuse is that Galio players don't tend to build a lot of AP items in their build so those ratios would allow him to scale a bit better with the little AP he gets.

@Arbyte The active player count peaked at 100m in season 5 and it's been steadily downhill since. If I recall correctly, season 9 had 14m. There's a reason they're developing new games now. They're preparing to ditch this milked dry cash cow that is League. They will not spare even a second of thought on improving it.
