- This is Part 3 of our Versatube Shipping Container Build. Here we will show you step by step how we built the Versatube 36x40 shop and attach it to our shipping containers and anchor it to the ground. This is just a video on our journey not a tutorial. Please check with your builder on regulations, codes and engineering.

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
@@homesteadingwithblueskyranch you guys deserve it. I like to see people being able to live off grid and out of this systemic nonsense.
Thank you for watching and supporting our journey!
8:30 genius using the shipping pallet to extend the height when raising the frame!
That was one of those situations where what the heck are we going to do! But it worked and was pretty darn safe 🤣
Great job, that looked like a lot of work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching.
Nice outfit Tom
Glad you enjoyed it!
Would you mind sharing the cost and reason behind sandwiching between the containers? I was thinking of doing something similar but was going to install the versatube building on top of the containers rather than in-between
Absolutely! We chose shipping containers to provide protection from the wind. We had 70 mph winds this winter and it was not affected by it at all! The shipping containers were 3,400 each and the Versatube kit approximately 18,000. We did order it with extra engineering for snow and wind load. Plus the cost of renting the lift and gravel to compact the area. Hope this helps. Please like, share and subscribe 😊
@@homesteadingwithblueskyranch thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Very helpful!
You are welcome!
Where did you get the kit
We got it from Port A Cover in Spokane, Washington. Versatube website will show you all the dealers near you. We worked with the dealer to build what we wanted and it was then built by Versatube and shipped to the dealer. The dealer then delivered it to us.
I think when I put mine together, my helping hand will be zip ties
Make sure you share that with us 😉
