My lgs is boros equipment (previously monoblack bloodletter combo), azorius artifact control, orzhov enchantment midrange, izzet otters (me), "simic burn" which includes OTJ crime lands and Doppelgang, and a guy that brings something new almost every month. There aren't many regulars, but the people who show up are cool. I just realized I'm 3 Beans and 3 This Town Ain't Big Enoughs away from making simic terror. I may get those card because I love simic and just got a job, but I love the low power level vibe here. Like, my silly otter deck is too fast for people often times. That, and most standard players are moving over to Star Wars Unlimited, including me. Who knows
My Creatureless toxic control deck runs a transformative sideboard where I add 12 cheap toxic creatures into the deck, against blue I almost always transform it cause I expect them to sideboard out removal and add negate.
Your decks are usually fire, this one is a complete bust, after 10 matches did not win a single game, could just be bad luck, but not a single game that just proves it did not have the answers for me. Keep brewing.

Fynn is great with Annie of course, but it's also sick to just eat your opps early removal so you can stick your big threats later lol
This is a pretty fun deck to play once it gets going! Just added some graveyard hate in sideboard to cover that base.

Nope same for me. Gruul winning the Spotlight in Atlanta put that deck and variants of it all over the ladder.

My local standard scene is almost all midrange, virtually no one plays aggro
