The modern Church is very confused on this topic. Young people are marrying later and less (with more marriages ending in divorce) so in response Church "experts" instruct them to scrutinize a potential mate under a microscope. The antidote to divorce in the Church is not compatibility--how can two sinners be compatible?--but a radical commitment to Christ and their covenant.
I see your point, but would disagree. It's not a new thing in church, to coach couples on their path down to marriage or to the end of their relationship.
Charmin, charming man! The point in the Kelly moment was well illustrated. Count the cost. What things are you willing to live n not live with. I would have given Kelly up too 🐕🍝🤣
"Compatibility is very important. Your values concerning self-expression, money, health, career and providership-even your world view-must be in alignment with another. Again, there may be differences, and these differences can be very helpful, but if there are sharp contrasts and these contrasts are based upon the nature and design of both you and the other person, this will limit your participation together. This can limit your ability to accomplish any task together." _Relationships and Higher Purpose » Chapter 12: Establishing Relationships_ - by Marshall Vian Summers. (free online/highly recommend)
Thank you! Order the book and keep praying for guidance.

Wow
he lied about everything. 25 years later divorced.
That happened to me, too. I was quite vigilant…and naïve. I wish I had known how to trust my gut and possibly sniff out a con man.
What things was your gut telling you?
You're husband? Or someone here on the podcast?
I certainly hope Kelly got an owner that actually cared about him or her. Sheesh!
He should have read 101 questions to ask before you adopt a dog.
I asked her I want to marry her I bought her engemnent ring after give her
Do not propose. The time is short.
If married, act as if you are not. IF not stay single.
Work for the L-RD.
❤️❤️SHALOM❤️❤️
Absolutely garbage! Marriage in Christ is from the lord and he uses families to show his glory
