Ilda, you're one of a lifetime Rammstein fan! I see your comments now and then popping up when people react to Rammstein songs and videos. Well done 👍, coming from a German who's a Rammstein fan since from the beginning!
I also want to urge every serious reactor,who doesn't speak German, to make the effort and look up the lyrics and even the meaning! Rammstein isn't only the music! Rammsteins music isn't Rammstein without the lyrics. Some meanings even get lost in translation where even some Germans have "problems" to "get" what Rammstein wants to accomplish with their songs, aka lyrics.

My daughters German teacher actually used this song in her class, because it is a great example of German verbs and pronoun usage; it constantly repeats sentences from different perspectives. I wish I was there to see a whole class of twelve year olds sing this though.

Rammstein performs this fantastic song on every concert, and it is really special one - audience is not singing along, they have their own written part when they shout answering "we can see you, hear you, feel you" 😃
And the video... it just got the song to a completely another level!
It was inspired by Gladbeck hostage crysis, when reporters got involved so much into, that they were even doing interviews with attackers and made them celebrities! Some people got killed...
Band members here don't want to rob a bank: they WANT to be caught, they WANT to be known, money doesn't matter - only fame does! And Flake... he kills himself to become immortal - that's why his photo is displayed when the robbers receive their Golden Camera award...
I love how fantastic actors they are. You can just feel the anger, craziness, their joy and satisfaction when everything goes just as they've planned it.

Yes, you are right. It's a criticism of the way the media reports on criminals. There is a true story behind the video, the Gladbeck hostage crisis, when the press was very close to the kidnappers and thus hindered the already overstretched police. As a result, three or four of the hostages died.
Wow that's nuts. I don't even watch the news anymore but it has grown into a grotesque beast that is in everything nowadays. You can't use social media without seeing it. That's a shame that people had to die for the clicks and views.

When you understand the lyrics and the hidden twists, double and multi entendres, old language, German poems and fairy tales Till had used its even better.

One must know that Rammstein videos gives the song a new meaning! The lyrics are interpreted anew and so here. The heist you see and the lyrics say in short. Media is sometimes making "heros" of criminals when showing every bit of their "accomplishment" and often in realtime (some US channels exist only for this). It's a critic on this phenomenon of our "all present" media and "violent culture". I set some words in quotation marks on purpose!
Nicely done. Rammstein have so many incredible songs. Some of my favorites and ones to check out are Sonne (Music Video), Ich Tu Dir Weh (Live Maddison Square Garden), Mutter (Live in Paris), Zeit (Music Video). 😀

The song was almost haunting and I don't remember the original giving me that, like that chill down to my bones.
She really just has such a unique sound that I really felt like I wasn't really ready for her. I am sure during the song some of you probably noticed that my mouth was hanging open and I had to remind myself to actually close my mouth so I don't look like a big dummy.
I am not really sure why shes not better known here in the US, because honestly, before people were telling me in the comments to listen to her, I had never even heard of her. But somethings telling me that's probably not going to be the case for too much longer because she has a lot of talent and she is super unique. I feel like that's going to take her really far. Thank you guys for recommending this. She was awesome.

Uhhh...you should translate the lyrics b4 you go around reciting them...some songs are really controversial topics...and ALOT of Americans speak some German!
That said...this is classic Rammstein...Haifisch Live Rock am Ring 2010 (full HD 1080p)....there's a band member crowd surfing in a BOAT!
It's shame you don't speak German, because Rammstein lyrics often play with words and with the double meaning of words.
