How to Pick Up and Purl (Rib It Camisole tutorial)

The Rib It Camisole calls for the knitter to pick up and purl stitches from the straps to start working the fronts. This allows the garter ribbing to continue as seamlessly as possible in the four center stitches of the strap. This video shows where to insert the needle to pick up the stitches.
Some test knitters preferred to pick up and knit with the right side facing instead, using the tail end of their yarn to pick up, so that the working end is still poised to start a right side row.
