hi
Hi kibitz yesterday I was making 640 million just from mainly taxing my industry and I made a RUclips short about it showing that as well as what I was doing to kind of glitch it so hopefully you try this or see let me know if you try and it works
:)
I mean... if my city suddenly decided to cut subsedies for my product and raise the taxes on it to 30% at the same time, I'd be moving my operation, too :D
fair point
Other side of that, paid for getting furniture to having to pay out the nose. Demand dropped out just as expected
He changes the 10% subsidy into a 30% tax, causing a 40% differential in the company’s revenues. Company skips the hell out of there.
Kibz: *surprised pikachu face
Your city feels like Cebu city and lapu-lapu city irl
i have done absolutley nothing but expand and i make hundreds of thousands bro, you dont have to do much
Ikea payed you 1.5 billion in taxes in less than a year and you wonder why they closed the store.. Great job as always Kibz!
IDK what u mean
🤣
@@Mikeymilne1510 the furniture was giving him like a million a day but it reset
@@Allthegoodhandlesaretakenlmao oh thx
It’s nice to see him face the consequences of his actions for once.
is it tho
Pin?
I think what happened is you had a super company that specializes in furniture and the taxes made them quit
And I think if they pay more taxes they have less benefits for next year then less investment less benefits and finally less taxes...
no, that must be a bug. I sometimes lose 100 million a month (10% Taxation) because (most of the times) beverages lose me that much money, when i reduce the taxes to -10% suddenly beverages make 100 million a month. Otherwise this system must be explained
Your cities skylines 2 series is really great. I've been waiting every day and clicking on every new upload for a new episode of cities skylines
i laughed so hard when he took taxes from -10% to 30% thinking companies would stick around
Imagine if Kibz tried to play Monopoly like this... XD
I think it’d make much more sense to put the disease centre and infection centre beside the university to make it a universe core, then surround it with some uni houses and make it the new hipster area for university students where they’ll make the new google companies in your city?
except hipsters don't believe in desease control
There's a bug at the moment where one specific company will overflow calculations, resulting in crazy + / - taxes - I suspect you had one furniture factory that was bugged.
And a few months of +30% Taxes was the Ice Cold Bucket of Water into the Face that woke it up, made it shoo the Bug away, and Recalculate. :P
Gotta remove those landfills from the edges of the shoreline if you want the leachate to chill out
You could make a big park at the empty spot in the downtown like central park or something with a lake maybe even.
Yeah I live in NYC and that was the first thing I thought when I saw that big green rectangle in the middle of the city. Should help attractiveness without making traffic any worse
Crazy to see! I work some jobs at the Argonne particle ring and it's so nice to see a particle ring in the game. Whenever I work a job there we literally have to take the bond villain style golf carts to make our way around the perimeter. Cool stuff as always
IKEA was the top employer, hemorrhaging money for Kibitz
Always a great day when Kibitz posts ❤
I literally just got done with the rest of the city skylines 2 videos and I look back and you posted again
Thanks for this video! I'm always checking YT to look for new vids of you 😅
Btw, i think most furniture businesses closed because of the high taxation 😬
I love these type of videos! They are so fun to watch
Honestly the city is coming along REALLY well! but I would have kept the patch of grass in the city it would kinda be like New York’s Central Park.
All I can think of is the founder of Home Depot saying the modern tax and regulation system would have stopped him from founding his company.
Place the signature buildings also kibitz, it increases well being and attractiveness thus you acquires more labour 😂😂. And also place radio telescope too.
I love these series
The mysteries of taxation, we tax vices so there would be less of them, but then we go around and tax income too.
noo the empty space in the city would have been the perfect park area
Ikea fled the moment taxes become 30% overnight 😂
more city skylines plzzz, im addicted to that shit
Under one hour gang ↙️

Love this series. Your personality is great.
If you want to know, biffa mentioned you in his last airport video.
Merry Christmas to my favorite youtuber!
Wealth, Health and More Subs !
PS: will you ever do a They are billions Apocalypse Series? (The campaign)
If something profitable for you spontaneously costs you an extravagant amount, it would be pointless to pursue production of the thing that no longer benefits you. Economics 101 right there.
Kibitz has no idea what a hardon collider is. They smash the particles together, not speed them up like in a particle accelerator. Two very different things. Hadron colliders in theory can (and possibly have) make/made black holes.
Your high taxes caused the companies to leave the city. That's why there's not taxes coming in
You forgot to add satellite to that one building next to the new university.
Downtown core in that Gap is perfect for a Stadium! & other services
So funny to see Kibitz wanting to make as much money as possible. While meanwhile I build a city that is not even based on money and still make 80 mil each month. And if I bumb up the taxes then I earn 800 mil each month. Tho I keep my taxes very low. Water and Electricity's fees are at 18% (so every company and thing has 40% bonus atleast)
Dang, the way you did that university is the way I would. Despite you making a hyper-capitalist dystopia, you make a lot of nice elements.
I got confused between kibitz and biffa lol
Bro, the demand went way down when you taxed IKEA, next time don’t tax the Swedish, or they will leave your city.
Massive arena/sports center type of building in the middle please
that's what ya get for siezing all forms of production in your city. WORKER UNIONS!
Lessons were learned along the way and i like that😂
Yeah... I'd be big mad if I suddenly had to pay you a third of my income too lol. Love your videos, Kib!
who would have thought that taxing companies, you know, the highest concentration of wealth in the city, instead of actively paying them MORE MONEY would actually benefit the city?
"Had-ron" - As in "You had to say it wrong" :D
13:49 You can maybe do a central park like the one in New York
"Hydron" collider 😂 🤪
Great vid tho!
Kibitz you should’ve made that into a central park
Vancouver Canada has above/below ground subway called Skytrain.
Bro its common sense no one could buy furniture cuz it would be like 1000$ example IKEA would buy the 1000$ dollar items and like mark them for a little more but no one had that money except Elon musk so no money back than IKEA losses millions and then that specific location will go bankrupt so yeah and than no furniture no tax
I swear the 'Hadron Collider', looks more like da LIGO detector for detecting gravity waves, such as the ones detected when a couple of black holes merged out in the universe somewhere, recently. (I'm just sayin'...)
"Today we're going to get rid of the poop!" - New York City when they started cleaning the Hudson River and other surrounding polluted rivers
Now imagine we had an anarcy and prob mod.
Buildig a few trees within the colider. So it would look a bit more like the uni.
Under one hour gang right here with Kibitz:)
You should subsidise every product type again, wait for another mega-corporation to move in and tax the hell out of their products, like you did with furniture. Infinite money!
Merry Christmas🎄🎅
kbitz never fails
Discovered what "tax thhe rich more" means, for a while you get more money and then they leave
Bro had the Amazon of furniture and chased them off like the California government
Well, at least you didn't rage quit! But, lowering taxes is a good idea, just not to -10%!! Try between 1-9%!
they should add a crime dlc when dlc's come out
Funnily enough, a city would only have one DOT thing usually.
I can't be the only person who just realized that most video games default medical helicopters are always md500 with no tail rotors I believe it's the H model that has no tail rotors I could be wrong though
Please continue the CS1 super walkable city!!!!!
Hi, I recomend you to buildt a normal airport in your city on the island so people can travel from your international Airport to the city without crossing half of the map thanks a lot
Have a fantastic rest of your year.
nooooo i can't believe you finally decided to deal with the poop only to leave so much of it :(:(
-10% tax
why am i losing money
bruh
Parking for university students?! Kibitz for Mayor everywhere!
WE NEED SATISFACTORY PLAESE!!!
I FUCKING LOVE THIS CHANNEL.
The great furniture bust of 2023
When was the last time you had word from They Are Billions devs. I miss that game
Game is complete, devs are silent.
12hr bonus series available on Patreon though!
Bro pulled a California and all the businesses left
Lol the Large Hadron Collider for $4 million and it fits in a city block.
The real one cost billions and is miles across.
Why are all the streets so dead? The fun of Cities: Skylines was to fix traffic and there is basically no traffic to fix.
when he lost the money he had no government subtiziee any more
Build high density offices instead of low density offices that will increase software production you know google needs big buildings
"Tax up the wazoo" Ah, so not like Google then
I've had that money glitch happen to me with furniture, beverages and textiles but the opposite. I gave all industry a -10% tax rate but at least one of those industries GAVE me hundreds of millions of dollars, a positive tax rate put me in the negative. It was very inconsistent as well, the game must be trying to balance your budget in the background or something.
Do you know how to fix this bug?
@@ridgej9818 no idea, it goes away after a while
Challenge: no roads unless you start with them it must be pedestrian walkways
Moving the University outside of the City and spmming a lot of parking next to it made me really sad :(
My taxes for industries alone is 74million a month. In a 60k pop city. This game is too broken for me.
kibz. isnt it a nice time to start a new satisfactory play through
I'm for taxing big businesses out the wazoo as well(if they exist at all.)
I think what happened is you filled in some housing so people bought furniture but furniture is mostly a one time purchase so if you want to see more crazy numbers fill in some more housing
I you take a shot everytime you hear WAZOOO you will be dead in half a second. seriously.
I had the same furniture glitch happen to me, except with chemicals. My theory is that when you started subsidizing furniture, the game glitched and assumed that the grant was part of those businesses’s income. As such, when the game calculated the next grant, it sent them more than 10% of what they were actually making. This would have compounded until they started making hundreds of millions of dollars primarily from grant money. Eventually, after you started taxing them again, the game realized that most of their income had vanished, so they didn’t tax them as much.
Make this a world save so I can play with this amazing city lol😊

@@ImKibitz what membership level?
@@Coaltrain87. any :D
You need to say "it's gorgeous!" "It's a masterpiece" way you did in this video every time now. Be your catchphrase 😂
Trust me you'll be a masterpiece sweetheart 😂
High taxes cause businesses to leave...If only our politicians understood that.
367 million??!
There's a pretty severe industry glitch in the latest patch.
pls make more of these videos
Try Taxing the auto industry
I think the furniture tax is a bug. I have seen it fluctuate a ton
I think that you could use all the poop to produce energy, just by buiding a factory in the middle of nowhere 🤑🙄🥴
Export power, export water, ???, Profit
1:17 kibitz builds 100millions of worth buildings to get better tourist rate and gets 2 more but all it took to have one button to double it C:S II why?
They need to make this game harder
Yeah
I really wanna ask how do you make transitions from Highways to Main Roads, I find it really hard, obviously I could check his videos and copy that, but I want something more original
