Looks great!! I need to try this style!! I make a similar thing: the crust is nice crispy hash brown potatoes: cooked then pressed into the pie pan and blind baked to set it. Started doing it with leftovers at a boarding school I worked at (no such thing as leftover hashbrowns at the house:) The egg mix I do is simpler: less milk, mostly scrambled eggs with cooked bacon or other meat and veggies mixed in, like a quiche, and topped with cheese. I cook it slowly to firm it through then add the cheese on top and run the broiler to caramelize the cheese

Hafa Adai! Thank you for watching and for your comment. I have never used evaporated milk for this recipe. When I make this dessert again, I will try using evaporated milk. But as I always would recommend to make it how you like it. If you don't have whole milk, I would use evaporated milk. Same ingredient, just different name. Hafa Adai and thank you for watching. You will know when the milk is ready when you see steam coming from the pot and there are bubbles forming on the outer lining of the pot. Allow it to cool about 5-7 minutes or until warm. As far as your first question, I am not understanding what your asking. Appreciate the love and support
