@@Daddy_Reissues my collection is 353 decks deep, then I have some doubles and about 15 setup as riders, they’re all on a shelf in my spare room, I wouldn’t even know how to video them all, I’d have to lay them all out in my backyard I think, I have a slideshow up from a while ago with some of my collection on my channel

I’d like to see both of those builds. I also have trouble figuring out what my next build will be. I’ve got a red Cab Chinese dragon and a blue Vallely that I’m deciding between. I just need a set of trucks and I’m ready. I appreciate the comment, Keep Pushing

I remember when this deck came out, I still have it. Real cool but I don't remember anyone putting all that plastic on their board in 1988? Seems like more of a early/mid 80s thing.
You’re right about that; I mostly remember these having the gorilla ribs and maybe a tailbone. I recall some of the magazine ads around 88-90 charging a premium price to add all of the extras to a complete, almost doubling the cost of the board. I always wanted to get one of those true completes back then but could never afford one as a kid. I was happy to get a new deck and add some old trucks and coned out wheels to it and push on. I only knew one guy who was able to save up and get his with all the plastics. He ordered the Jim Thiebaud SMA, and spent nearly $180 with shipping back in ‘89. Double kicktail boards we’re getting popular around that time as well.
I like the added benefit of preserving some of the main graphics, especially since I ride most of my builds. I’m not exactly what you might consider skillful at skateboarding. Some days standing without falling is a challenge on its on.

I’ve been collecting parts for a while now. Most of these I’ve found on eBay, but you have to be quick. I saw some different colors available about a week ago. They’re getting pricey now that there aren’t many around. I’m surprised that Powell and a few other companies aren’t reissuing them yet. A missed market for sure. Thanks, I appreciate your question.
