Thanks! The only real slippage issue is around the dragon. For some reason the graphic was more centered on top compared to a few others I’ve built. If I had to do it over I would add in a small patch of clear grip over the top graphic. I appreciate your comment. Keep Pushing…

For me, the Bones Big Balls are a good economy choice. Ceramics are nice, but more expensive. Also, choose your wheels based on the terrain you plan to ride the most. Generally speaking, the harder the wheel=the faster you move. Keep Pushing…

@chrismiller-uf7lj Great question! The best answer I can give is that it depends. In the long run I don’t think it will make a big difference. But for now, once the shrink wrap has been removed, most buyers consider the deck to be used and expect a discount. Some companies are now using resealable bags instead of shrink wrap, so that changes things a bit. Thank you for the question, and Keep Pushing…

I decided to use blanks for the first few that I painted to help keep the cost down while I figured out if this would be worthwhile. It definitely is. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. As an amateur grip tape artist, I love how easy it is to work with and how well it grips. My son just got the hybrid with Film Trucks, Zealous Ceramic Bearings, and SpeedLab Wheels' Soft Shell Wheels. He loves it!

Nice! So many great color-ways to choose from in this reissue, and then they threw in the modern concave too! Had to try it out

@@Daddy_Reissues the modern concave isn’t bad, I got a psycho stick with it and it was a good board but I prefer the standard concave on the reissue decks

@206dave4 I bought a Mark Gonzales Vision reissue with the modern, but it was too steep for my big feet. This deck feels more like a mellow concave, similar to my Santa Cruz Winkowski.

I’m still riding this as my daily, but I switched out the wheels after 2 months to a set of Dragon Formula 56a. I saw some slimeball minis a few days ago. I think they are a 54a. Might try those out next. I appreciate the comment!

Thank you; I can’t wait to set mine up too! Most of the parts i’ve used don’t seem to make a big difference on the weight or ride to me, but I’m a large guy so it may be different for you. It takes some getting use to, especially the tailbone. The sex bolts used for the nose guard may do more to protect the deck than the actual nose guard itself. The bolts tend to hold the ply together if you lose control and slam into a curb or a wall. I appreciate your comment! Keep Pushing

I appreciate the comment and your passion, but I think there is some kind of misunderstanding. I never meant to imply that I wasn’t going to skate it. I even say in the video that I may change the wheels after I break it in a little. It’s cool though. Keep Pushing
