An interesting experiment. I was surprised to see that the 100% antifreeze froze that much at those temperatures when it shows -50 deg on the container label. Thanks for sharing.
About a month ago we experienced our black and gray tanks freezing while traveling. We couldn't dump our tanks. We poured regular anti-freeze in our tanks and drove for about 100 miles and wha-la, we were able to do a dump. Great experiment. ~Lucy
Good information. I live in central Florida, so I have never had to use antifreeze. I wonder if auto antifreeze will do the same thing. Thanks for sharing.
Great experiment. I never knew that anitfreeze could freeze but not expand.
Thanks Duane!
Nice experiment, good use of a control too. I have to say that I figured antifreeze would not freeze until like -50 . Very interesting
Yeah, me too!

That’s a great tip to know!
Helpful info ,thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Maybe next time it gets really cold, try it outside. Lol. I may have to try this experiment too.. great video!
I thought the same! It’s still February, so -25 celcius is still a possibility! 🙈

Thanks! Not that I’m aware of.
Your upright freezer would be a lot colder with a defrosting.
Yes, you make a good point. I ended up defrosting about a week after, it was way overdue.
Looks like a slushy
Doesn’t taste very good though! 😁
