@mbckproduction Hey, thanks for the comment. The cameron remark was referring to the fact that I feel he relies too heavily on CGI now. When he made T2 he used a perfect blend of practical effects and CGI. When he made Titanic he built half of the ship for real. In a recent interview he said that if he made Titanic now he would use complete CG. Don't get me wrong, he's one of my favourite film makers, I just think he's lost his way a little recently.
Awesome choices. Some interesting ones too, as there are alot of films I've never seen. I thought you would include Pans Labyrinth and I knew what your number 1 pick would be. I'll post up a vid next week of my top 20.
Good to see you back doin videos again!! Now you have done your top 20 Films, how about you do your top 10 or 20 TV Shows? I think that would also be a great video!!
@cackalackymovies Hey KJ, thanks for the comment. I absolutely adore Drag Me To Hell; I thought it was a much needed return to form for Sam Raimi after the questionable Spiderman 3. It's a gorgeous movie to look at too; some of my favourite recent production design. I do love Aliens; it just missed the cut for my top 20. Thanks again!
Excellent list Mr. Snowman, I really like your movie taste, I've seen most of your list except maybe for Mysterious Skin and Synecdoche, New York both wich I've wanted to see for a long time, specially synecdoche, new york, wich I've had the opportunity to buy it several times and I always end up getting something else because I've heard mixed opinions about it, but seeing on your list makes me want to buy it, great videos man, keep it up and happy holidays!
I'm impressed buddy, Some really top notch picks! Sad to see you left out my favourite movie, Donnie Darko. I respect your opinion and enjoy every little explanation for your picks, great video!
Deffinetly agree with Zodiac as David Fincher's masterpiece, but i do love all his films!! However, Christopher Nolan's masterpiece is Memento in my opinion. That film is probably my favorite movie of all time. I personally would also have had Eternal Sunshine on my list, but still great choices and love a lot of those picks as well.
@thecollector1138 I'm glad you liked The Darjeeling Limited! I LOVE that movie so much. The fact that my video made you check it out means a lot to me.

Me and that movie are old friends now, so thank you, Mr. Snowman! And I know exactly what you mean. Me and my friends sing Show Me the Way to Go Home all the time!

Day of the Dead is also my fav from the series. Evil Dead 2 is also on mt list! What did you think of Drag Me To Hell? I think Raimi was working on the same level when he made it. And we share 2 in the top 5: The Shining and Alien. T2 is great, my second fav Cameron film, behind Aliens. Great top 20, man! --KJ
Wow really enjoyed this list....I think David Finchers best Film would be for me also Zodiac....Great that you placed Unbreakable on your list and you so right about M. Night it is really sad that he apparently has gone bonkers for his last 3-4 films. Also that you placed Psycho on that list was very important because if you put films from Park chan wook or QT on that you pretty much have to name Vertigo or Psycho. What do you mean with cameroon can´t use Special Effects anymore?
Good, original list. Just wondering, what do you think about Shawshank? I know it's almost a cliche to ask with it being #1 on IMDb Top 250 but just wondered what you thought.
Great list, Jack... I totally agree about Reservoir Dogs. It's my favorite Tarantino too... Joseph Gordon-Levitt is brilliaint in Mysterious Skin which is an underseen dark gem... And Alien, Pscho, and Jaws are all classics that never get old no matter how many times you watch them. Awesome list.
Top 20s are hard to do! Great picks though. I really hope I can appreciate Synechdoche, New York on second viewing. It seems soooo like my type of film and I love the cast but I didn't gel with it. i take ur comment very seriously... hipster. but since his favorite movie of all time (I'm not gonna spoil it for the people reading this before watching the video) is a pretty mainstream movie I don't understand how the movies that i listed above could be beaten by mediocre films like the ones he chose.
Awesome list, i will make sure to see all these that I haven't already seen, but i would definitely put 2001 above The Shining as far as Kubrick films go, but I'm biased as that is my favorite film of all time.
I believe the steadicam was created for Rocky but i could be wrong
@CinemaDust Thanks, yeah I'm a fan of many, many different genres.
Each film is better than the other, great choices.

dude old boy is one of the worst movies i have ever seen... he was in jail for 20 years and didnt loose any of his muscle mass when he wasnt working out and was drinking liqor all day every day... explain that to me
You do understand that effectively all people do in prison is work out
that's the American remake.
titus bramble I just said when he WASNT working out... in the movie he was drinking alcolhol all day for 10 years.. his bodymass stayed the same and you could tell he was in good shape... then when he started working out his body was the exact same.. plot FLOP
Why do you have an American flag behind you?
@TheMcoleman148 Cheers!
