- A base that I called home for the past year and a half finally fell. The story of how it happened is certainly something you'll want to hear.

Hey minecraft shorts guy!

I swear there's endless story after story of leijurv being a decent dude and trying to help folks out, dude's chill as fuck as well
yea, leijurv is a legend for helping people like Sal preserve their incredible bases
Flandre gaming
I guess he's the 2b2t version of Schindler's List, doing his best in this toxic wasteland.
Leijurv is all around awesome, hes an amazingly brilliant programmer as well, not just limited to minecraft projects. If anyone is interested in that kind of thing check out his website and look at some of the things he's worked on and programming competitions he's competed in.

1, hey grist didn't expect to see you here, 2, Liejurv was a real one
Honestly, despite all this going down with the griefing and releasing coords, just imagine your work on 2B2T to be worth 4000 bucks
Even if the guy releasing the coords for money is a piece of poop, he had that amount in mind for a reason, thats just genuinly beautiful
Yep
its 2b2t ems is not a piece of shi#$ just cause ems grief. everyone knows ems base is gonna be grief sooner or later
sumone offered a guy 5k for my stash when it was found lol ppl on 2b be desperate
I think the seller was a smart guy and shouldn't be insulted. It's an anarchy server after all and making money from your hobby is a smart idea
@@bushkulavor1079 Dudes a piece of poo because he is taking someone elses work and tries to make money off of it.
Learn the difference. Just because a house can get robbed one day in the future, that doesnt mean you should go out and find a way for people to do it.
Use just a tiny bit of logic please.
Man, griefers must have an empty void where their heart would be if they actively look for bases like New Arganoth to destroy
It is just human behaviour. It has happened and continues to happen IRL. From the destruction of buddha's to the rape of niniveh, there are just some envious lowlife shit people in the world. Envy is a nasty emotion.
Hey, if this thing was made in Creative I’d still do a triple-take and spend ages looking at the details, log off & process everything
The people who griefed the Valley of Wheat posted a video of it, claiming it griefing was like their holy mission in life. I wouldn't say people like that had a void for a heart, more like a portal to hell.
Stay mad
If it means I get to respect the dedication and willpower of the people who built the thing, then yes I will
What’s your excuse, Ceral?
$4000 would have been cheap for something so incredible. Beautiful base, sal - keep on keeping on!
No lol
@@TollyH Most people won’t understand that and just say its a videogame or a block game they don’t even know how a base like this takes a lot of hard work & dedication.
@@mirasounds3500 And they would be totally right.
@@hexagonist23 The architectural design alone for this base irl would pay a LOT more than 4k.
@@Ashevlyn no lol its a videogame
That base looks so amazing, it's literally art. I think something like that, and the memories you made with it, are priceless. It is sad that it got destroyed. But without an end, things like this wouldn't be so precious.
Thanks for the great video as always.
That's 2b2t for ya lol
Well said!
well ehm. they gain value with time too. so postposing its end forever would actually make it way more precious. i never agreed with the "end makes things precious" statement. just my pov.
@@danisob3633 they would not gain any value if they were forever there.
@@danisob3633 but time wouldn't make them more precious if they couldn't be destroyed. Time only makes them worth more because it delays the inavitable end, making them more unique this way.
Seeing all these impressive builds in your videos really makes me wonder what the players of 2b2t would build next if the server ever updates beyond 1.12 with all these new amazing new blocks in.
I think it's gonna update straight to 1.16 or 1.17. Or so I've heard...
1.17 update coming soon I heard as well
I don't understand why anyone would ever want to destroy crazy builds, it's like destroying a world wonder for no reason
I know right.
But then again, griefers don't really care that much about how good a base looks.
They just wanna see it to the burn to the ground, which is quite a tragedy.
Clout
I understand destroying a build if you have a personal problem with someone. I also technically understand if an individual takes the time to write code that can find things, then go blow it up to instill fear and be seen as a threat.
HOWEVER
Just griefing something because you accidentally found it, or even worse, because someone else leaked coordinates. . . That's BS.
I don't understand why anyone would ever want to play on 2b2t or whatever griefing server
It's terrible but then again, it's the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft
I feel your pain. Azuros 2 was my passion project. Leijurv protected it as well and was disappointed when I made the coordinates public. But out of the ashes has risen something truly spectacular 😉 Keep building brother 👊
4k feels like it's being under sold even though I have nothing to base it on. Great vid, Sal!
Well they have probably put over 1000 hours into it and that's like minimum wage for a 14 year old lol
1. get a large collection of publicly available builds
2. baritone them into 2b2t
3. sell coordinates
4. profit
lol
Yeah especially if there's a active dupe
STONKS
However it's not a good idea because most player will hunt you if you go insane about selling the others coordinate
That's why nerd co don't leak
Or sell the coordinator
And I mean Hunt you in real life
The base is absolutely breathtaking. Honestly, great great work. Really inspires me to keep working as a builder and work to improve. 👏🏼
I'm so sorry you lost your base, guys.
Like fr, a lot of heart went into it and it looked absolutely amazing!
I'm glad you were able to preserve it in memory with pictures, videos etc.
they have a complete world download of it, they could literally rebuild it block by block if they wanted to
@@apollo1694Not that easy
I love how the post Tristan posted is titled "Greetings from Tel Aviv!" 😂
The fact people have enough patience to build bases like that on a server likr 2b2t where you constantly get disconnected is beyond me

This is stunning ... absolutely incredible. So many details. If I had to build this, I wouldnt even know where to start.
This entire story kind of has a Overlord anime feel to it..
Yeah 100%
I've never even watched anime before 😂
I cant see the similarities apart from known and powerful players in the community making an absolutely huge breahtaking base. but thats every MMORPG.
You're like FitMC but no so dramatized, I like it
Wow, when I heard that base coordinates could be sold to griefers for IRL cash I didn't expect it to be anyway near as high as $4,000!
Would someone have actually paid that?
Thank you very much for leaving the download link , so we can appreciate the world with our own eyes 🙏
clyde has had access to the database since 2018, and he never sold any nocom data to anybody. he was approached by somebody and offered a stupid amount of money for your coordinates, but eventually turned it down after leijurv asked him to. I guess this kid decided to troll you instead with the screenshots he was given. just wanna make that clear because this video implies clyde was profiting off nocom behind our backs, which isn't true.
thats the ultimate troll. how pissed will sal be when he sees this lmao
You should send that to Sal on discord so that he sees it
Doubtful, 2b2t is notorious for scummy fucks. Even if he didn't explicitly sell the coords, just having access to the database makes him responsible for the grief.
And... All we have to trust you is your word.
I wonder, do you feel the same way, nearly a year later?
I mean i guess we will never know either way because they leaked it themselves
Imagine the creativety of 2b2t without the griefers... that would be something to write history about.
2b2t wouldn't be 2b2t without griefers.
would it be helpful if a base is entirely submerged in water to prevent it from being griefed?
.....
Yes
@@rubyissapphire People can use sponges and then destroy it.
@@user-qh8vm1me5w do sponges work in 1.12?
@@rubyissapphire Too lazy to test it, They can use blocks instead of sponges then destroy the base.
I would love to see the dude's reaction when the cords he was giving for 4k were published LOL
Exactly. Let the jerk ear ashes.
I was crying while watching this hope you could recover from this incident.
Nice work Sal! Very interesting video.
Honey: what did you spend 4k dollars ON!
I spent it on a creation in a block game
Jokes aside, 4k its fair
That's like buying Marketplace Maps but you'll destroy it
they should make a build team and do comissions lmao, they would get a lot of money
What kind of weirdo is willing to drop 4 grand for some coordinates on minecraft though? doesn't matter how awesome the base is
@@earthwormjim420 People spend millions on some paint on a canvas
@@TheEnabledDisabled Yeah it's true that theres always someone willing to spend an absurd amount of money on something, never makes it any less baffling to me
You always pick the best music. Viva Pinata TIP was my shit! Glad to see it hasnt been completely forgotten!
the amount of people who worked to save your base is actually really wholesome
2b2t is the very definition of the temporary beauty of all things.
I sure hope at least those griefers had a lot of fun demolishing the base.
Why would you build such a beautiful structure on a server like THAT?
Thats my question, why waste such talent, time and love on something that will be destroyed by lifeless neckbeards and kids.
@@gentlyvillainous I'm going to guess it's so that they keep some kind of motivation? I mean sure, it's great to keep the building standing, but after that, there will be nothing left to do and it'll be boring.
I guess that's the appeal of anarchy servers in the first place.
That's precisely the point. They don't just enjoy the architecture or design aspects, planning and building it on an extremely dangerous place is part of the thrill too.
Exactly my thought, why spend houndreds of hours in a project that will be getting griefed anyway
I think the question is more, why not?
Like especially with how easy it is to make world downloads of builds now, you can basically build huge builds on any server with a group of mates and then download those chunks to save it forever. Its easy to document it even if its lost.
But as for the motivation to do it on such a chaotic server to start with my guess would be to keep motivation (2b players tend to be known for their extreme nature lmao), along with how all the players invovlved were people who mained 2b2t and therefore probably liked the risk it brung, also i'd say 2b2t is the most unique server in the way of how its history is so avidly recorded and monumental builds are forever remembered (even if they might be reduced to craters)
Me and my mates used to main a server that was literally awful in everyway, just a cesspool of degeneracy and hacks but we spent hours building huge maparts and bases just for the fun of it, just for something to do whilst we were chatting, and i remember our builds actually ending up sticking out so much because of having these relatively big intricate builds on a server that had a reputation for just being bad all round. It made us different, whereas if we'd been on a dedicated building server we'd have been easily shown up by most people. (not saying thats the case here though becuase damn this base wouldve easily matched or bettered any mc builders creations especially since they didnt have access to worldedit, thats crazy)
thankyou so much for including the music!
lol this used to be called someone almost sold my base for 4000 dollars
This story is very great! THANK YOU SalC1
you're welcome!
sal’s production quality never fails to impress me
I could never play on such a server... Just trying to imagine having such a beautiful base into which I put several hundred or thousands of hours destroyed makes me feel super sad...
I play minecraft only SP with some mods on my potato PC. Best stuff I build - was lavacasted tower I modified for multilevel base. Thats all.
And today I downloaded this base... I'm shocked. Cant imagine building all of that not in creative but in actual survival world. This is breathtaking, exp. in night time. Your work with base lightning is smth unbelieavable. This save files will be forever in my MC folder from now on, I will return to this base when I will need an inspiration for smth. This is just WOW!
The best base I've ever seen on 2b2t. Phenomenal timelapse. With nothing else needed to be said, amazing.
Love your choice of backround music, being the Guild wars 2 soundtracks
this story made me all types of sad and happy at the same time
Just wanted to say, I honestly don’t really care that much about Minecraft, or at least I haven’t for a number of years now, but I just discovered this channel and have found the content very engaging and very high quality. Enough so that I’ve watched a few videos now already even without much personal attachment to the subject matter. Magnificent job, keep up the good work!
New Argonath is dead,
Long Live New New Argonath!
Yooo, that guild wars music takes me way back
I just started learning about all the 2b2t lore not just the rusher stuff, and it’s hilarious to me how seriously people take their minecraft virtual lives i’m ngl. 4k for coordinates to a base is actually amazing like you can buy a car for that much
Props to Leijurv for protecting the base.
Goddamn it dude, I don’t even like Minecraft but your 2b2t videos get recommended to me all the time, and I watch them, almost every time lol
2b2t is like bunch of anime stories condensed into one.
Well thats crazy. I viewed your videos the whole day and then out of nowhere: BOOM a new video. Is that part of the Nocom-Exploit???
This was an amazing video to watch
Woah. Imagine my reaction to playing this video thinking it was fastvincent, then getting SaL! Love it. Great to see another video man!
Edit: seriously, love that a lot of you guys use guild wars(2) music. My favorite mmo. Always love the music!
This guy's voice in every video he uploads legitimately sounds like someone reading a book with a gentle voice while speech.
Can't wait to see someone using the audio from the video, but adding real life structures and peoploe.
these videos deserve to be played in cinemas
it's insane that a tuple of 2 floats can be worth $4000
You make the best videos keep up the good work
I was never been happier that the base is eventually griefed before the dirty hand could take a money from a block game. Such a beautiful ending.
You know, seeing these overworld builds has me thinking what I and friends got up to on some private servers. Namely enormous completely subterran bases that could house city's. So I am wondering, just how many enormous bases are hidden beneath the ground that have not yet been discovered? There could be whole mines of Moria hidden in. some corner of that map.
Daym what a beautiful base. I would’ve refused to grief it or publish coordinates if I had ever discovered it
My mind was blown away from the style of the buildings
The music is very fitting.
All his videos always feels like a movie
Damn dude. That's like Space Valkyria levels of build quality.
Thanks, Leijurv!
2b2t is the only fucking server where people can band together and do such massive things.
When u showed ur tiny house in the middle it reminded me of up
Huh, I didn’t even know I’m into this stuff. Great base. Very impressive.
Lijerv is a real one. And he didn't even tell you he was protecting your base
This felt like I was watching Overlord
Appreciate the guild wars music!
thats really dope leijurv had enough respect for it to save it
I never play 2b2t and just play minecraft a couple of times if I feel it but I love the story of whats happening on 2b2t server.
The more I watch 2b2t videos, the more I like what housemaster is doing
It looks so fancy. Its amazing
That final fantasy ending making this video even more beautiful dude😭😭😭

this is beutiful thanks for documenting it god bless

It baffles me that people would pay so much money for cords to a base in a 20$ game.
forreal lmao
4000$ for the coordinates of someone's base in a videogame. Like, do some of these people even go outside?
would've been hilarious if the coordinates were made public the second someone spent 4000 for them

Found this in the discord, I like it.
It's an amazing compliment to have your base be valued at $4,000 actual dollars.
