Love Coleman stoves.Have several. Bought my first one in 1972. Love coffee too. Drank many a cup, brewed on a Coleman over the years. Thanks for combining the two. Happy New Year. Godspeed for 2022.
Hello, I have three of these vintage Coleman stoves. Same one that is in your video 😊 They are wonderful and timeless. Enjoyed watching your video - from Fresno Ca 😊
Well, hello there from Fresno. I'm from Northern California myself. Welcome to the channel and thank you for the kindness and comment. I really appreciate the support. And I love to hear Other People. 's stories about their stoves and camp gear . These stoves are fantastic pieces of equipment, aren't they. I hope you have a great week. Take care.
Nice.....oh, I’m out here, just watching and learning. I used my Pyrex this morning. I’ve found out (for me) once the water starts to change colors I let it brew for 7 minutes.... also, I put 6 3/4 cups water in mine to start off with since it loses quite a bit because of the steam. I guess I make coffee in almost every video I do so making a video about just making coffee hasn’t really “hit me” yet.... seeing the Coleman and the Pyrex together has motivated me though....... ☕️👍🏻. I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that last comment about me! 🤣😂🤣
,, man oh man i`m trying to stay in Roberts corner but i might have to through the towel in on this one,, Robert get up 7,, 8,, 9,, hes on his feet ha ha ,, that old stove is pretty cool,, can`t wait to see the next video,,
@@BluegrassBushcraft man oh man you got to bring the big gun out. Ha ha Steve is gunning for ya ha ha.. I just might have to make a coffee video & give Him something 🤔 to think about.ha ha. I'm still on your side and in your conner .my friend..
That is one cool Coleman stove Steve 🤩 I have seen several of the 425 lettered stoves but never one like this one. I love those Pyrex percolators, I had one years ago that got busted and then Robert blessed me with another one a little over a year ago and I am so thankful for it. I have used it in a few videos. I sure was excited to do this but man my digestive system is saying not right now …… ugh 😠 Hope your new year is rolling along with perfect grinds ☕️👍🏻
Your not going to believe this but I made a video this morning using the exact same 425 no letter stove. You will have to wait a couple of weeks to see it because I am saying two or three weeks ahead. Probably will be more ahead this week.🤣 Thanks for sharing and God bless.
@@oldschoolwithamoderntwist6074 James I made a video making coffee on the exact same stove yesterday. Just a different pot not to mention I made oatmeal on the second burner. I think I already got one over on him with this one. 😁
Only two 425’s before this one which makes it a series 3. The series two only difference was the legs locked on the outside front bottom instead of inside. The series 1 only difference from the 2 is the tank color which is aged bronze which appears brown. Love the coffee on these old stoves thanks for sharing!
Drinking my coffee that I just made for next weeks FIUF/Coffee Challenge. What year is stamped on the tank tab? Before the Coffee Challenge was created, I did this video. ruclips.net/video/TA4I4XQYwXQ/видео.html. almost a copy of your video, First burn, but with a vintage Coleman propane stove. I got my pyrex coffee pot for the same reason. And at a good price. I picked up a metal diffuser from someone's camping set to help with the simmer. Working on next weeks. Thank you for sharing your coffee with us, Steve. Stay safe and stay warm
