He should've won the Oscar for this performance. This song always pops in my head throughout the year's.

With all the big, flashy musical performances in this movie, "Mr. Cellophane" is my favorite. John C. Reilly is brilliant

No other song in the show is designed to break your heart. And I agree 100% that John C. Reilly delivers the goods and then some.

And you just notices how little attention we give to Amos and how he feels about being used and put aside. Is my favorite song.

Don't know why it says Richard Gere because this is John C. Reilly. Who was, as usual, absolutely brilliant.

The end, when his face looks so sad it’s so powerful. It really shocked me how versatile John C Reilly is. He’s one of my favorite actors.

I loved seeing the choreographer working with him...you see then how genius John C Reilly is...he just brings it to life as the choreographer outlines a movement even slightly.

This scene is brilliantly sung and acted and I really enjoyed getting to see the behind the scenes crafting of this. Seeing those few moments of John C. Reilly working with the the choreographer was great!

This and cell block Tango were the best numbers in the film. All in all it’s a really great movie, especially for a musical reproduction into a film.
Before seeing this I was unaware of Ted’s singing abilities, and he killed it in this song.

I honestly feel bad for Amos. His wife cheated on him, ignored him, and lied to him. Poor man. It's real life though.

The only poignant song from the only sympathetic character in the film, aside from the Hungarian who pleads not guilty and is hanged.

Wreck-it Ralph is always a winner. I wish he would've had some songs in those movies, other than the Rick-Roll at the very end of "Ralph Breaks the Internet" (where he was intentionally singing badly).

Who are the man and woman watching him sing? The woman looks like Flynn's secretary but the guy looks younger than Gere, but logically it must be Flynn since the performance takes place while Amos is still in Flynn's office, and the only other people present are Flynn and his secretary.

I loved everything about this movie but John c Reilly is brilliant don't know why he didn't sing in the movie step brothers as well should have sense he so much better of a singer then will Ferrell is.

Yes in the movie it was replaced by a conversation with Amos and Billy Flynn and then it cuts back to the song
