Aw I clicked on this not knowing it was these two! ❤️ I might be biased because of taking classes with them, but in my opinion, they're the best Elphie and Glinda out there
I actually saw this show recently way before the pandemic even had started last yr. it was amazingly such a great performance the whole cast and crew did such an incredible job making this live in a musical and my favorite character from the show was galinda I thought she was outstanding and my fantasy was to be her one day
Mk and Gc didn't have any recorded footage. Since the first national tour there's been no new videos. They should just use the most recent bway ones instead
Wicked has been on broadway for 16 & a half years this October, I believe it's about don't judge the green girl. Anyone can apply this to any skin color. It's about have a thick skin to make it seem like it doesn't bother you, but really it's the feeling we feel on the interior that people can't see.
Since this is a amateur theatre not sure why they didn’t cast closer to the character description or at least curl the hair for Glinda as oppose to spending broadway money on this.
What on Earth makes you think this is amateur theatre? This is the National Tour, which is Broadway-caliber standard and many tour cast have also been in the Broadway production at some point.

I saw Mary Kate, Amanda Jane Cooper and Jake Boyd in Wicked back in 2015. I loved them! I just saw it again a week ago, but those 3 were my favorite.

The touring production is just as good as broadway, definitely not amateurs
