Absolutely loved this roundtable discussion celebrating 20 years of Glinda in WICKED! It's incredible to hear from these talented actresses who have brought Glinda to life on stage.
This is exactly what I want! They gotta have an exclusive coven somewhere where the previous Elphabas & Glindas gather once or twice a month, have lunch meetings & catch up with each other.
My first Glinda was Lucy St. Louis in London last year & a young black girl sitting near me in the audience gasped in a clearly audible “ Oh my gosh” in amazement seeing a black Glinda descend in the bubble onstage. It was a truly beautiful moment.
Alli Mauzey was my first Glinda!! I’ve tried to see Wicked once a year ever since, and I’ve seen all of these lovely ladies perform the role! ☺️🫧 G(a)linda is such a nuanced character, and the different interpretations of her psychology is just one of the many reasons I keep coming back to the show. 💖
I saw Megan Hilty as Glinda when I was 11 years old. 💖 Cool to learn that Allie Mauzey was a past Glinda. Just watched her verison of the song, Popular and really enjoyed her choices in acting the song. I saw her for the first time on Broadway in Kimberly Akimbo. 😀 Will check the others’ versions of that song as well. Enjoyed this round table, thank you 🤗

I just saw wicked at the Detroit opera house for my 19th time it’s so good wicked is my favorite musical and I could see more wicked anytime Broadway or Detroit. I saw wicked on Broadway with the original cast November 2003 it was so good I start loving wicked on November 2003 I could be in wicked Someday and I could be in the show I know lines the songs
I've never seen any of these Glinda's live, but to hear them share their experiences is really nice. 🖤💚 Would have been nice to hear from Kristin, Kendra, Chandra & Erin (they were some of my Glindas) and some of the more veteran Glindas, but you can't have everything. 😉

It's awesome how the energy is in the room is SO different between the Elphabas and the Glindas 😂 and both videos were great in their own way!
